I'm a bit late, just came from the latest community post, but anyway.
So do you guys think that one of the reasons Gawr Gura moved on to Saba was to have more lolicon freedom?
I always thought some things about her statements and actions were a bit contradictory, but i didnt think too much about it until now.
Never really watched her, but she had the power to impact everyone in the company, including the one i do care about.
So i always wanted to understand more about why she left, why she almost never streamed and etc.

Yeah he's not the only one that got shit over it. Oney & a lot of others caught flak for carrying water for him back when he was still popular. The only one that didn't & always was public about not liking the guy was JohnnyUtah & I think Ding Dong. I remember one of them, SirPelo made an animation glazing Shad only to walk it all back after he wasn't popular anymore saying "I never even knew the guy, we weren't friends I just made an animation cause he was popular"

I don't know much about her either but that seems like the most likely reason. It wasn't because she didn't want to stream, & it wasn't because she didn't want to do idol shit cause apparently she made a guest appearance at some indie concert. Either it was to have more creative freedom or she wanted a better cut of the pie & both of those she gets from being indie.

That's why femboys/traps have always unsettled me. Those who actually almost 100% pass as females are usually young boys or males who look way too much like young girls.


Even worse, I have seen many trannies have kind of seen this as their ideal aside from supermodels (because at least super models are visibly adult).

I don’t know if this has been covered yet but one of the emails for gura’s dox appears to be a goldmine of information. It’s involved in numerous data leaks.

Because youth is when everything is idealized, since the body and brain are still developing. There's still that sense of wonder towards everything - sex, love, friendship, work, and other activities. It brings back a comfort and vulnerability, but unfortunately, this attracts unsavory individuals who cannot just keep it in their pants or try to act normal at least one bit. A responsible adult would occupy himself with work, hobbies, and normal socialization instead of focusing on the idealized innocence of youth then proceed to use that to his advantage.

I doubt this given she was able to sell a body pillow of her Gura model while at Hololive. There are also several Japanese members of Hololive who are open lolicon. There might be different rule for the EN branch though. My guess is that it was a combination of being unable to deal with the pressure of being the biggest at Hololive and some sort of internal disagreement she had with management.

No sign of that.

Her complaints were about not being able to get her music and animation projects done or done well, and about not being able to play games she liked. She's not into loli games, which many Hololive girls do play. The one she was saddest about was Atomic Heart. We know why that wasn't allowed.

The last straw was her getting lectured about being a "brand risk" and told that her streams were being monitored for it. Her brand was ironic lolishit, so that threat was about something else. She didn't explain, but she said it made her afraid to stream. It must have been something she does habitually (being slightly "based" maybe).

The four most popular girls all quit at the same time. They probably all did it for the same reason. Wanting to make 5% more pedo jokes wasn't it.

Mumei had health issues and Fauna seemed tired with management and having to fly to Japan. I'm guessing having all 3 of her closest friends quit was also one of the reasons Gura chose to leave. I imagine she also didn't want to be the first from Myth to graduate. People speculate Gura wanted to quit for a long time but I'm guessing Cover Corp convinced her to stay because it would be bad for optics.

SirPedo apparently went back, making comments about liking lolicon or whatever. So he only threw Shaddai under the bus in order to appear innocent. I believe it's here in this thread, but nothing incriminating. Just something about "liking content of lolicons".
