A lot of them will go and say that if you hold people accountable to any kind of morality, standards and such you will end up purity spiraling into oblivion or that you will end up alienating a lot of people that want 90% of what you want with the exception of some small disagreements and for the sake of having support. Some of them will even tell you that the right won the Spanish Civil war despite their overall disagreements and differences because they put aside everything for the sake of crushing the commies.

Things are much different today. After all, everyone back then would think the people of today are disgusting degenerates and we should think the same for the most part. A lot of these people are incapable of even go a single day without yielding to their desires in one way or another. Like a guy that cries watching Passion of Christ hours after he masturbated to rape porn. And tbh today moral standards should be enforced to a good degree. Much like fandoms, any movement gets ruined by letting degenerates and tourists in.

Holy shit, not to blog or get too off topic or anything, but I had an ex who was EXACTLY like this. Don’t want to reveal too much about him because he knows Kiwifarms (but doesn’t actually use it, although I still don’t want to take any risks). He often watched and listened to a podcast on Youtube who always had a favorable opinion of Nick Fuentes (plus another guy on Odyssey who was basically the same), and whenever I would express how I felt about Nick and literally told him everything about who he was (and I mean everything), he told me about what you just basically said but in slightly different wording: “that you will end up alienating a lot of people that want 90% of what you want with the exception of some small disagreements”.

Hypothetically speaking, if 90% of people on my side are pedophiles, then yeah, idgaf, I’m not going to be associating with them or having favorable opinions on them just because they hate the Joos and Israel too. Fuck that shit. If they wanna call it “purity testing or spiraling”, then oh well, so be it, because at least I have some fucking standards and I’m not going to be down with weird, degenerate bullshit no matter what your views or opinions are on certain topics or matters.

A good example of this is James Fishback. Half Columbian founder of a debate league and now openly anti Israel. A school district cut ties with him and his debate league after he got allegations of grooming a high school girl. After the girl turned 18, he tried to marry her. Fishback is currently trying to run for governor in Florida. When approached about the topic by a "chocolate gentleman" who was obviously looking for a reaction, the following interaction ensued.
Despite the evidence against Fishback, many blindly defended him. Notice his usage of the word "women", very similar to the way Matt Gaetz said "17 year old woman" when pressed about his own allegations by Tucker Carlson.
Both of these individuals were defended by those on the right, highlighting the greater issue of political tribalism. Nick Fuentes, as you mentioned, is morally deplorable. Investigative journalist, and occasion user of this forum, Chris Brunet has a well made report on the topic of Fuentes, the Groyper movement, and their deeply rooted evil.

As for the political left, we have all seen plenty of examples of this tribalistic defense of sexual predators, especially among troons.

I experience the same with some people i know.
I usually hang around people of conservative leaning but from their usual posts and things they say you would have never guessed. A guy i know says he's a staunch man of consevrative values and very catholic but he's constantly lusting after foxgirls. I remember he once asked me why i unfollowed him (since he spammed anime pictures nearly constantly) and i told him he just posts too many anime tiddies. He said i was a killjoy and that i should just bear with him if i wanted to be his friend. So i didn't.

I'm close with another one that as of late has been going ham on with Pragmata and he's really into Vtubers. When Capcom put the crying emoji of the little girl he said "They know their audience" and since he has been in clear support of the game and other Vtubers that lean into the "It's totally not pedophilia". Some time ago i told him that i refuse to watch a lot of series and play games because the fandom is either infested with trannies or porn addicts and he retorted saying "If i went like that i would have no series to watch. You should bear with the bad apples." We also have a common aquaintance that reposts porn almost constantly and he's also into loli. I avoid all contact but this guy bears with his degenerate because "It's just one thing".

It is weird i ended up gravitating towards these people just because i passed the litmus test of hating jews and racial minorities, but when i look deeper i see that i have little in common with them. Not only in tastes but also in morals since they also are in the "Women are not human" bandwagon while i know to make distinctions.

This is another line of defense i see a lot. I remember there was a game that got lambasted because it did pedo apologia saying that a mentally handicapped 16 year old girl with a learning disability was "mature" and was "a woman grown" to excuse the fact that she was sexually abused by a married 32 year old man.

This pairs with the "you're so mature for your age" shit.
