The only annoying LGBT content I remember is the camera monster having a stalker crush on you. To be fair that just added to the horror. Especially since your spare key hidden in the hallway plant is gone. Also you can just kill anyone you don't like.
It's not even like the game shames you for it. Just about everyone you recruit hates him, he's a creep with a creepy hobby that tries to cover it up with altruistic intentions.

He gave me a key item for the price of a kiss is what he did. In this house Lyle is a hero!

You kissed him? You can get it with a photo too.
Oh well now I feel raped. IDK I really love how resource starved you are, especially before you know what you're doing, I didn't want to risk having to give him anything so I just gave his lens a kisseroo. Also before I learned that he was a complete pervert I didn't know if turning him down would make him aggressive.

He pretty much tells you that he has no problem keeping people/monsters trapped in photos out of self-defence (As he claims anyways) but dosen't do anything with them other than make them exist in a prison they can never die or escape from out of lonelyness. And that may end up Sam's fate if you don't kill the photo he tries to trap you in if you fight him.

Hellen outright says that if he takes a picture of her, she will kill him. The Spider isn't fooled and knows full well what Lyle does to which Lyle begs it not to tell sam. Sophie was also pranking Lyle before the Visitor appeared just because he's a spineless shut-in that she finds amusing that she can outright bully an adult. Ernest isn't also a fan of Lyle taking pictures of him too. Roaches is roaches.

Really the only thing that he is likeable about is being a good DM for his roleplaying campaign and is trying to make everyone have fun rather than solely focus on sam.

Dan, Monty and Xaria are more likeable due to characterization development where as Lyle dosen't really change other than the DM session showing he can be socialable and not an outright creep.

Oh well now I feel raped.
It really says something that Sam has to deal with not one but three monsters that want in someway to try getting him to "embrace" them.

In the first encounter, If you tell him that you usually visit church, his reputation stat increases by 3 and if its 3 or over his blessing lasts a day longer. If you say you sometimes go or you are a different religion it goes by 2. If you say you are not religious it's 1. Every time he does a blessing the rep goes down by 1.

You gain rep by donating money after the act. If you give him $40, the rep goes by 2, $20 its 1, $10 it's 0 and nothing is -1. Every time he revisits it goes up by 1.

He doesn't come back if his rep is 0 or lower however.
I never knew that. That's a neat detail.

Watching challenge runs of this game is fun. I think it was a solo Sam, cursed/Lumpy mode, genocide run that got the cheese wedge item (can't remember the name) added.

For those that don't know: 'Cursed' is a hard mode that changes up the encounters (and some other things I can't remember).

'Lumpy' is a setting activated by giving your main character (Sam) that name. It equips you with a straightjacket, which disables your arm slots, and it cannot be removed.

So imagine some lone, unemployed dude in a straightjacket running around an apartment building beating literally everything in sight to death, Lovecraftian horror or not, with a sock full of coins (that he's apparently holding in his teeth).

Beating the game with only the kids was also fun to watch. Sophie kept getting WRECKED, but I think the run is from before she got buffed with status marbles. Can't remember.

The next update will have a lot of bug/quality of life fixes and updates. Rat Child will be given new skills that were supposed to be added before but didn't due to time constraints. The child will be able to learn from Xaria and Joel. Joel's is really good as he will be able to learn Devour that does the same gimmick with Joel eating people but it's a skill rather than a basic attack. Xaria's will allow the rat child to insult people which increases damage by 20% on debuffed enemies.

Been watching Frankie's dev streams from time to time and I love the amount of effort that is put into the pixel artwork. Malison the cursed city looks really good and it's a game maker game like his previous works too so there will be a lot of new additions that will outshine Look Outside.

Okay... No you're not cool for doing a challenge run. The game is easy enough on its own. Just do bleeding and you win. even when you fight god. bleeding is just so good.

That's odd, I swear the latest update already added all of that in, unless it's a redo.
The rat learning skills from others is sadly random and time-sensitive, so it's possible to not trigger the correct cutscenes and thus waste your chances of improving the rat child before it grows up, which is what happened to me.
