Sluthate had shit moderation and it really pissed off their users. Sadly the only ones who would do anything about it were super autistic and just wanted to be in charge instead of 3dfa.
So they catered to the whims of the loudest most retarded users in order to try and steal SH's userbase. They even let fucking mrz stay when rampant pedos were half the reason anyone was griping about how shit SH was. Then both sites died.
I personally don't understand why they didn't just make PUAhate.se and try to keep things as close as possible. I used to enjoy reading threads about what losers most PUAs were in real life and the shit they would make guys do at their camps.

Some astute observations. But not wholly accurate.
Lookism is far from 'dead'; at least, not in the sense of activity - it has essentially become a thread-a-minute competition for the most attention-hungry members of the community.
I only really use SH now, because the mass exodus to Lookism has left a small band of older, more interesting posters (from my perspective of course, not yours) who can carry on a conversation without requring a Banderas gif.
It is a shame that the PUAhate name wasn't carried on; but it was highly toxic after the ER affair. I've always said that the name 'Sluthate' was a bad choice.
