He doesn't even look bad without the wig.... known ski competitors turned instructors, ex-athletes turned coaches, medical field practitioners who own the bald or balding look and it's fine, really.

He "looked bad" due to the camera angle and anger. What really actually makes him look bad is caring so much how he superficially looks as if that'll somehow compensate for other insecurities well enough, like giving this fragile aura of no to little flaws, discipline and confidence. Women and employers care more about the content of your character rather than raw looks (which can help to a degree) and your skill set.

I've known a conventionally not attractive guy date and marry a cute looking woman. Why? He is skilled at his job, genuinely a hard worker, isn't a risk of physical harm, is genuine and overall decent. His money wasn't in the equation because they both worked.
 
Just watching that clip is so interesting because in a way it does kind of validate some of the looksmaxxing ethos. The second that wig is removed his entire visage changes so dramatically it’s almost like a different person.

Come to think of it Patrick Bateman is the OG lookmaxxer. Flashy outside, completely empty on the inside. Absolutely no money, power or relationship can satisfy the hole within. It's a mask of sanity that hides a gaping hole where a soul should be.

I swear this is some bernstein shit going on. I thought androgenic was always public with his bald head? It's in the name after all. I became aware of him when he did the callout for clav when he got frame mogged by the frat dude but when I checked his yt channel he's always wearing the wig.
 
Thread tourist but a majority of these popular "desirable examples" just end up looking like Cher and Pete Burns except even more botched.

A majority of the time they're not even that bad looking at the start, they just have offputting personalities and undeserved sky high standards. They hate women so much they'd literally be happier fucking other men and it's bizarre.
 
I genuinely think he looks better without the wig (he's also not even bald, Norwood 2 is what every male will have sooner or later) - he looks like a typical Polish gymbro and almost natty, instead of some uncanny surfer twink with body of a Baki character.

honestly even in looksmaxxing spheres baldmaxxing isn't seen as ropemaxx territory as you would think. If you leanmax and get to 15%bf and shave your head, you could pretty effectively saitamalarp. if you're white. Blacks have it a bit easier since they don't usually have long hair. It's only just asians and maybe mexicans who are in brutal territory but even then you can larp as a cartel member and get bitches that way. A few trashy tattoos and a wifebeater is all you'll need.
