I cannot wait for the day when Lori leaves Kevin. He is such a disgusting creature himself, and so fucking dumb as to try to crawl back into Weeb culture, where he burned his bridges and then some, or think that he can really contend with actual "Sneakerheads" with no income. Those Jeremy Scott wing shoes better make you fucking fly, because the only other real thing I can think of happening is them fighting again, Kevin snapping, and severely hurting, or even killing Lori in rage. I'm not even trying to laugh about it - I'd really rather see one of them cheat and run away. But at this point...it's dragged on for a REALLY long time. The possibility of either one of them cashing a reality check is all but improbable.

Don't take that as me telling anyone else how to feel about it. I think the whole damn thing is really fucking sad. In fortunate that none of the few mutuals I have with Lori were close enough to her for her to have become a fixture in their lives. They either keep her for popcorn night when she REALLY acts out online, or are just afraid of what she'd pull if they removed her.

Or perhaps...attempting to manipulate said audience with constant posts about how you're the target of some secret underground Russian bratva headed by Momokun?

Why, Kevin. I dare say that this smacks of some projection on your part. A lot of people tend to hate a character for encompassing a trait they possess and loathe about themselves.
You can't really blame people for disliking Bakugou and his attitude. This is the kid that literally called himself "Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight".
(And of course Deku's awkward around women, Kevin. He's a mostly-normal teenage boy with the expected amount of insecurity for the age. Bakugou, however, simply views women and men the same. Only thing that matters is whether they are obstacles or pawns, nothing else.)

Spoiler: Usual Sperg

People like Kevin flock to Bakugou because his character toes the line between Chaotic Good and True Neutral, so he's still good enough to be a hero but still enough of an edgy shitlord to rebel against heavy authority. He's also not consumed enough by his angst to be a Sasuke 2.0 (that's Todoroki's job), which is a bonus. Bakugou's character design also looks like an homage to Kingdom Hearts 2, and I don't know what it is about an excessive use of belts, buckles, and straps, but that always seems to be a hit in the weeb-a-sphere. I've also noticed that the ones that are really crazy about Bakugou in particular - not meaning the people that just like the character and that's that nor the batshit shippers, but the ones who act just like Kevin, because yes there are others - tend to be either the polar opposite (insecure, quiet, probably uber boooollied), or they're exactly like how he very first starts out (brash, annoying, loud, the most entitled person ever) yet they'll never get that small slope of a character arc, because there isn't a Japanese dude actively writing their IRL character development. They then have to go off about how Bakugou is just "misunderstood", and he's "not really an asshole he's just like that it's how he shows affection!" Because they take all criticism of him as personal attacks, and they can't just admit that they like an asshole character because he's an asshole and that's just what they like and either relate to, or want to be like.

I probably can't talk too much shit though.
The only My Hero Aca character I've been able to enjoy all-throughout is Dabi, because a character is more fun when they're a chaotic shithead and not only own it, but double down on it for...familial reasons. Bakugou is alright, but he has a little too much optimism/heroics left in him for my taste.

TL;DR - Kevin's simping for Katsuki Bakugou is either because he's a gigantic raging asshole IRL just like Bakugou, or because he wants to be a cool bad boy like Bakugou when he's really just a Deku once he takes off the cosplay. My bet's on the latter, because his "hot takes/comebacks" wreak of tryhard, and because he's still an unironic Illidan fag in current year.

I can't be the only one to find those 'pretty' sneakers hideous, right? They're a nothing shade of grey with some ugly rainbow. The colours just look kind of muddy to me, I can't see the appeal at all. At least the Jeremy Scotts have a gimmick and can go with multiple outfits (but not every outfit, like Kevin seems to think). What does he own that even goes with the grey ones?
