Lost games - The names your mind forgot

Sounds about right... Either that, or it's some Army Men game where air combat is the core focus.

There was this PC game that took place in medieval times, but you solved puzzles or something to I think get keys to free the king and his royal subjects (I think you needed to free the king, I dunno). One of the games/puzzles was with a catapult. I was just talking with my brother about this several nights ago in attempt to try and find the name of it, but I completely forgot what we brought up lol.

And while this isn't a game, per se (it was more like an activity board, had a bunch of these as a kid from (science) encyclopedias to stuff on space, the ocean, and dinosaurs), there this educational game or something from the '90s that had to do with American history. The biggest thing I remember from it is that it had put together all of the Presidents' speeches/quotes into one, connecting speech that ended with Bill Clinton saying "what it means to be... an American" while their pictures were morphing into one another, and upon looking that quote up, that came from Clinton's inaugural speech. So maybe it was a combination of inaugural speeches, which is actually pretty cool of them to do if that's the case. I just don't remember what this game/activity board was called.

When I was little, I used to own this jungle-explorer based game on the GameCube that had you swinging on vines and trying to avoid monsters in this jungle. I remember one section was blocked off because I needed a gas mask for it, but never found it. There was also this ancient Mayan water fountain that when drank would restore your health and I think also saved your game(?) I'm not sure if it was exclusive to the GameCube, but I also distinctly remember it having the name of a baseball player? baseball game? Event? idk... I could be completely far off from the name but that's what I remember it as for some reason.

I'm guessing that's the Pitfall reboot? Never played the game, but I did see someone else play it and I vaguely remember something about a gas mask.

Anyway, I remember playing this one PS1 game on a demo disc. It was a 3D game and one of the levels had you running from a boulder I think. The character was a boy and every time you were about to come up to a pit, he would yell "Uh oh! JUMP!"

Another level in that game had a bit of a isometric view

Game was about this kangaroo in overalls. I think it was a computer edutainment gamevor something. I had a doll of the kangaroo which must've come with it.

There was this PS1 game I had a demo for. I had heard the game was cancelled but maybe that's wrong. I just can't remember the name.

But it was like a 3/4 overhead isometric view. Something like that. You were a giant robot in a city being attacked by some sort of enemy. And you had to recapture territory to neutralize the threat. People would be running from buildings screaming and you could step on them leaving red splatters everywhere. This was my favorite part of the game and I'd just step on everybody.

This was a game I played on the computer when I was a little kid. This might actually be two games, I don't know.

In one minigame you got to put sprinkles on ice cream cones and in another one you had to match up talking cards that said things like "Exercise is good for you!" and "After I go to the bathroom, I always wash my hands." I think it had "kindergarten" in the title.

Another part of the game I remember, which may or may not actually be another game entirely, took place in outer space, inside a big spaceship. You could click around and play math songs about shapes and the like. One song was a little ditty about multiplication and the times tables, and, from what I remember, went something like this:

Do it by ones!
One, two, three, four, five
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten

Do it by twos!
Two, four, six, eight, ten
Twelve, fourteen, sixteen, eighteen
And twenty.

Do it by fives!
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty
Twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five
And forty!

*this is where the harmony came in and the song started sounding really awesome*
Do it by tens!
Ten, twenty, thirty, forty
Fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty
NINETY, ONE HUNDRED!!
Now look what we've done!
We've sung our counting song!
We've sung our counting song!
We've sung our counting song!

I wanted to see if a playthrough of this game (or these games) existed on YouTube so I could relive my childhood but I can't remember the titles of the games for my life. I really hope some of you remember.

Sounds like it could be Time Gate: Knight's Chase.

It came out in 1995 or 1996 and put out by the same company that did Alone In The Dark so it looked a lot like Alone in the Dark.

One of the puzzles was using a small catapult to get past a laser trap.

No, that's not it. The game had cartoony graphics and was completely first-person. I don't even know if the character you played as even was named.

But I'll look more into that game, it sounds and looks interesting.

So out of nowhere I did some more googling, and I found out where the song came from. Anyone heard of a game called Math Blasters?

I still don't know about the other game though.

Future Cop: L.A.P.D.

I used to use real arcade as a kiddo, so I saw a lot of weird and obscure shit. One game I remember was this weird top down shooter/maze game. You played as some old character who looked a bit like Wallace IIRC? One level I remember is that you were in a desert and you went into a pyramid. The pyramid was filled to the brim with these poorly animated mummies, and the pyramid itself was this weird red and white checkerboard pattern floor. Haven't found it since.

There's plenty more of these games I can somewhat remember. If I can get a good write-up on them, I'll post about them later.

Sounds like it might be like one of the games in the Jumpstart series

It was a pc game that was a combination of a nation and city building simulation with various races like Humans, The Hive Imperious, a race that looks like bulldog people. It was a really cool game and if anyone can help me figure this out, thanks.

Maybe 1988, 1989ish. Apple? I think it was a dungeonish overhead game,
something with an ascii looking centipede thing like @OOOOOOO ?

Also on the Atari 800xl there was some game where you controlled a
spaceship from overhead, you turned and had thrust forward and back and
you'd bounce off the walls. You had to manage your momentum like Asteroids
sorta, and then you shot a bunch of stuff and there were some crosses that
were energy or something you had to pick up.
