Really cool event, autist gamers put in their combined power to help charity, fun and cool. Even if you hated games, you still found the event cool because these fucking nerds got thousands of dollars to charities to help kids.

Suddenly the "usual crowd" sees that there is profit to be had, organization gets sold, and now its just incredibly gay, cringe and retarded.

GUYS PLEASE DONATE ANOTHER 10.000 DOLLARS SO WE CAN SAVE THE ANIMALS OR FUCKING WHATEVER?!?

They now even have something called Games Done Queer. Its so shameful to look at, holy fuck.



The FCG didnt reach this point yet because it does still have some Chud representation, but its really close and getting worse by the minute.

I wonder if fighting games will realize that chasing the Max Dood demographic isn't gonna fucking work before it's too late. It might already be too late. For fighting games to get MOBA big, they'd have to clear the very first, very difficult hurdle of...

... Being actually good. Like fun to play. Hard to master. Have a skill ceiling. I don't know how this was repeatedly achieved until the 2010s started and then suddenly all the companies got these lofty ideas about what fighting games COULD be, and it definitely isn't anything that players would actually want or like.
