The problem there is that while he isn't well known in california he certainly will be before too long if he actually tries to stay. He'll just end up repeating the same creepy psycho behavior he did in spokane. The problem for him is its not spokane and he will get in alot more shit for it there. Yeah I honestly think it’s unlikely that he’ll stay once he’s convinced the catfish is... a catfish. I know he did it when he came to Olympia from Spokane, but that was only a few cities over, not a few states, and he had people (namely Dan) in Olympia who Lucas seemed truly afraid of and desperate to get away from. While he’s not well liked in Spokane he doesn’t have anyone like that to my knowledge, and he believes he has friends there.

He is definitely lazy and he CLAIMS to love change but I don’t buy it and I think he’ll be very homesick, even just for his regular shelters, street corners, and beginning of the month Motel 6. I think he’ll get his payee or his mom or someone to get him a return ticket and turn right around and go home, if he makes it out of the catfish situation without getting arrested. I honestly hope that’s what happens, like many others have said — Lucas is a really bad person, but I don’t wish actual harm on him and he is so mentally ill that I really don’t think it would be fair for him to be shot on the streets of LA or wind up in a California prison.

Olympia is nearly the entire state away from Spokane.

I honestly don't think he's proactive enough to book himself a ticket back to Spokane, but then again I didn't think he would get on this flight to begin with. So perhaps I'm wrong.

Did he not find out at all about the "Itsnotinthecards Werner". I mean at the airport he would have been asked about the child that was supposed to be with him. That itself would have raised a red flag that something was off.
