Horrorcow Lucas Werner - A man of Spokane, Washington who is obsessed with millennial and Gen Z chicks

I suspect that his bi-polar had some sort of arrested development effect, where he largely stopped developing after he was 17 - 20. I mean, look at how he handles money and responsibilities to this day. He still acts like a teenager in many regards. In his mind, he was ignored in high school and didn't get to date girls in that coveted (to him) age range of 16 - 21.
If Lucas felt safe and secure that he could get away with it, he'd go younger than 16. He has said 4 yr olds have wanted sex and 11 yr olds come up to him at the mall. His biggest kink is "daddy/daughter" and likes for the girls to call him "daddy". He prefers to have a daughter over having a son and has given off bad vibes that say he should never father a daughter.

I have all of the Ocean Breeze issues from that era, but will need to track them down. What I do have is my senior yearbook, which has a whole spread about the Ocean Breeze staff. I've decided to upload both the full page (with me in the large picture sitting on a desk with long hair) and a close-up picture with the full newspaper team. I have marked the key players in the Lucas drama. You'll see both myself, Michelle and Lucas, as well as Bryan, who Lucas brings up in his autobiography. Maybe you have already seen these pictures, but hopefully this will put some faces to the names.

I bet he grows his hair out because of you, too.

He looks like an oversize gradeschooler in that pic.

Edit: Any idea where the "n-word makes girls horny" thing originated?

Not that I'm trying to say you're trying to garner sympathy or anything like that, but I guess just wanted to add to the sentiment that you made me consider Lucas through a more sympathetic lens than I thought be possible for me, and also empathy for his family and friends.
It seems like he had a choice in all this and chose insanity and to indulge his pedophilia. Even assuming he didn't actually rape any of those girls he was drugging and boozing up, that's very alarming behavior, and that's when he was in a better state than he is now. It's actually good he's homeless and without a place where he could assault a child.

I understand the skepticism, I really do. However, I will note that I used the same email address listed on my Defunct Games website (which has been going since 2001) to create this account and even tweeted about it on the Defunct Games twitter account. The thread below (from last night) even has a picture I took from this thread. See for yourself.

This is the first and last time I’ll ever say this, but I agree with Lucas: You are a gifted writer.

The post about the early 20s apartment and friendship you shared was really illuminating, and paying for an apartment while your freeloading roommate scams old people and psychos comfortable with mailing pubic hair, must’ve been infuriating. You’re trying to help him get back on his feet, meanwhile he’s totally contended to wallow in his own filth and swipe funds due to you, for fast food.

It is sad, however, that he was once just a shy, kinda strange teen who didn’t have many friends. But upon reading the homeless girls portion, any sympathy I had dried up.

That’s predatory behavior, not mental illness.

The racism and homophobia arc is new, as far as I can tell. When I knew him, Lucas was always open to people who were different from him. He was a liberal who fought for gay marriage early on and I didn't sense any racism in him at the time. After listening to a couple of recent interviews with him (the one posted here and another at The Geek Room on YouTube), I get the impression that he's doing this for attention. He even admits that he's doing it to get a rise out of people, because he's a "stand-up comedian" (rolls eyes). I think he has taken a lesson from the shitlords online who say terrible things to get noticed. He's like a teenager in that sense. He doesn't know how to construct actual jokes, so instead what he does is shock. Unfortunately, he's also really bad at that.

Cyril, what can you tell us about "The Voices on The Wind"?
I feel like I'm going to let you down, but I'm not sure what this refers to. It sounds like poetry. This is probably something that came after I cut ties with him for good. However, if it's poetry, I can confirm that he was into poetry back when I knew him. His brother, Shawn, is too. Shawn's poetry was even published in a book, which annoyed Lucas (the self-professed poet) at the time. When he was living over in the assisted living home after I kicked him out, he was always trying to get me to make music out of his poetry. Like everybody with long hair in the 1990s, I played guitar. However, his stuff wasn't good and didn't make for catchy music. I'm also not a great musician, so there's that.

But that does remind me of something ... Lucas can't sing. When he lived with me, he always wanted for form a band, because he genuinely thought he was a great singer. Think: William Hung on American Idol levels of delusion with his singing. There was this great spot over near the Evergreen State College where we could be as loud as we wanted, and we would pile my guitar and amp into my car and go over there and just have fun rocking out. He would kind of yell and do awful poetry during it. You would never actually want to hear any of this, but it was fun in a very punk kind of way.

Anyway, I side-tracked that pretty bad. What is The Voices in the Wind?

@DefunctGames has made an invaluable contribution to this thread, and I look forward to him sharing more details. Especially those related to alcohol poisoning. But, on behalf of young men everywhere, why didn't you do the friendly thing and tell Lucas how to get a girl friend? Why didn't you share the puss puss with him? Why did you hoard all the women, and not tell Lucas where they could be found? Lucas could be married now, and encouraging his daughter to invite her friends over for slumber parties....
The thing you have to understand about an un-medicated Lucas is that he hates to be told what he can and cannot do. If you tell him not to do something, he'll want to do it ten times more.
Few people enjoy being bossed around, and many young men have a contrary streak that they struggle to outgrow. This tendency is evident in many of Lucas's videos, and has not served him well on his puss puss quest.

Your friend exhibits some symptoms of schizophrenia, including auditory hallucinations. popularly known as "voices on the wind" after comments he made.

No worries, that story was great. No, the voices on the Wind refers to Lucas's occasional mention of auditory delusions. He's mentioned many times over the years that he will hear criticisms and encouragement seemingly from the wind. At one time he mentioned women were outside of his apartment screaming up at his window that they wanted to have his babies.

Ha ha ha!! I know, right?? All this could have been avoided ... if I had just found him a girlfriend.

Sarcasm aside, the truth is, I'm not a very good wingman. Despite being good around people, I have always been more of an introvert. I mean, I chose a job I can do at home, even when we're not in the middle of a pandemic. I'm pretty content being here at the computer, working on stuff, watching movies, playing games, etc. I wasn't going out to parties and I wasn't even 21 when he lived with me, so bars were out of the question. I had a long-term girlfriend when we moved to a brand-new city (where we didn't know anybody) and then didn't have a girlfriend the rest of the time he lived here. So, to hear him complain that I didn't get him laid is baffling to me. He was the outgoing one who thought he was the nice guy women wanted, so why wasn't he out there finding girls?

@DefunctGames -- damn dude, thank you so much for sharing this. Not only is this a great piece of writing ("The Lucas I knew and liked might as well have burned in that fire," holy shit my dude), it's such a tragic, fucked up story that still somehow has hilarious moments. Like that he was calling himself "the Wizard" at one point, hahaha what the fuck. Really, really fascinating to get your insight into the transition point where he started his slide into the abyss. It just makes me sad you got stalked, holy shit bro. That sounds pretty rough. And the fact that he fixated on you for doing nothing worse than not buying shitty furniture he burned, and for telling him to take his meds. That shit is fucking dark, brother. Like we're all here for entertainment and to observe the worst parts of human nature and the depths of abnormal psychology as a hobby. This very much humanizes the friends and family who have to put up with people like Lucas in real life. And honestly it kind of humanizes Lucas, it really sucks to see a person succumb to a complex of mental illnesses like that. Lucas is still hot garbage, don't get me wrong, and he also made a lot of terrible decisions to get where he is today, and refused to take an ounce of responsibility for the course of his own life. The cold truth is that he didn't appreciate or have any compassion for the people in his life. He was never really your friend, because he was incapable of caring about you as a person and not a vehicle toward fulfilling his own needs. I hope you are doing well after going through all this, it sounds like you are.

Like that he was calling himself "the Wizard" at one point, hahaha what the fuck.
There was a point when he first got instant messenger accounts where he would call himself Tinsley, because he was a big fan of the Dave Matthews Band (Boyd Tinsley was the violinist). I'm trying to see if I have any of those old ICQ or AIM logs, but I suspect they did not get brought over when I changed computers multiple times over the years. Same with the emails. Aaaaah!!!! I bet there is some real gold in those emails.

So, in case there was somehow any shadow of a doubt, Lucas is a confirmed pedophile. I truly hope he was never successful in molesting those girls. The idea this creep is still allowed to prowl the streets for underage girls is horrible.
Least he'll likely never have the money to get an apartment again due to wasting it on fast food, guess some things never change even without medication, and being robbed by Isaac and his friends

@DefunctGames gdi bro this is amazing (the yearbook pic and answering every question), thank you again for your openness and insight. I almost feel apologetic and undeserving.. I recognize that this may be entertainment for me, but it's real life for you and it sounds like a lot of this are painful or sad memories

I bounced around from thread to thread until I discovered this one, and stayed in it partly for Lucas' antics but a lot for the quality of comments here. Though its armchair/amateur psychobehavioral analysis and speculation, I feel like its done so well here.. really thought provoking and funny and I love reading them.. So it's crazy that you join us to provide us with a ton of missing details we've been curious about or attempts to answer questions based on what you know about him (your speculations lend just as much valuable insight into him).. in composed, very well written responses.. you've added such an emotive layer to this whole thing

I had a couple more questions that you're free to ignore or skip

- when the Starbucks thing happened, were you surprised? Was his brother? I imagine the dynamic of your friendship with him is that you guys avoid talking about Lucas (understandably)

- would you be able to expand a bit more on why you don't feel that Myrna is an enabler, other than her sending him to his dad to deal with, and moving far away from him? I guess the speculation that Myrna is an enabler comes from that it seems she's made excuses for his behavior, with implications that his potential danger to little girls would be blamed on his mental illness

- if you were to talk to him face to face now, do you think he'd react to you negatively or positively? Do you think if you asked him how he's doing/been doing, he'd have a spin on things or he'd unload all his misery? Like if you asked him how he planned to provide for his wife and children, would he have a realistic answer? Previous attempts at asking this question always resulted with him screaming incoherently or providing very unrealistic answers (living off what the government would provide him, and his assertions that babies are not very expensive)

- would you know why he is always challenging Christians to prove their 'love'.. often putting out challenges to Christian girls to date him, in order to prove their devotion to Christianity and its teachings. It doesn't sound like he grew up in a religious household. Is it similar to the telomere thing, it's just another way to try to rationalize his inappropriate desire to get with young girls at almost middle age?

EDIT:
Have you ever considered writing a book on this? Your experience and your thoughts about what happened to Lucas, from the information gleaned from this forum, news articles about him, and his writings he's put out after your friendship ended.. a general book about the human psyche and mental illness

He is/was a "Dave" zombie? Jesus, it gets worse.
