I guess "not posting crazy videos on youtube" could be a part of some court-diversion ordered therapy from community court but... I doubt they would even know about his rantings online. They tend to be checkbox programs that are just a process.

It's pretty amazing how he manages to get banned from so many places in such a short amount of time. Ideally he'd have some kind of exceptional people organisation help set him up with housing in another town in Washington that he hasn't been banned from half the establishments in, and just tell him he's either gonna be homeless for the foreseeable future or move to find housing. Now this is a genuine theory that makes sense.

That would be an explanation for why he doesn't have a phone, and he has in the past seem to be uniquely deficient when it comes to understanding technology.

Anyone remember how when he handed Isaac his phone, and Isaac zoomed the camera in, Lucas hadn't even known that the phone could zoom its camera by moving fingers on the screen?

He literally told isaac, "you broke my phone!", and Isaac had to explain to him that it was merely zoomed in.

I keep waiting for Lucas to leave a comment online saying "I don't have a phone, but I'm getting one soon". And then I remember it's lucas, and he has a weird way of not mentioning anything that he thinks makes himself look stupid, so we probably will never find out what happened in this situation.

One day he'll just be making videos again, and we'll all forget about this absence.

He does know how to get a phone at a store. In a video he made last yr when he was spending the 1st stimulus. He was staying at Motel 6. Around the 0:55 mark he starts talking about the new phone and service plan he'd just got.

Good find, Mothman. Yeah, it sounds like he went into a Metropcs store and was sold that phone. Now, a lot of those deals are for new customers. However, you can always switch between carriers such as Metropcs, Boost, Cricket, and some others. Most of those places have some dirt cheap Android phones for new customers that can be had for under $100, some are almost free. You do have to pay for the first month of service and sometimes a small activation fee, but still you can walkout with a phone and a month of service for around $100.

Now, Lucas may not know this or understand how prepaid phones work, so who knows? The plot certainly thickens with his absence.

I dont think so. yes Lucas is incredibly lazy when it comes to normal things like having a job, bathing and trying to not be homeless, but he has a constant need to post rants online. His all consuming obsession with gen z, with socialism, and with finding a magical savior girlfriend who will do everything for him is what makes him a lolcow in the first place. this is why as long as lucas is alive and not in some kind of hospital/jail he will always come back to posting on one site or another. if Lucas was just a run of the mill lazy, gross hobo who didnt have an online presence his life would be so much easier

There was no scuffle. It was exactly the same circumstance as the one we've all heard recorded, where he showed up in a place he was banned from, they added a ticket to his list of infractions and they let him go. Considering that the infraction had nothing to do with the internet, why would restricted internet usage be a punishment?

It will be nice when he’s back so we don’t have to keep speculating. If Lucas took the advice or directions of psych professionals I’d imagine one of the things they would tell him is to stop engaging online and find a different hobby or outlet, I don’t know if there is anyway they could take that away from him for his own good and give him a flip phone instead but even if they could it’s his sole purpose in life so he’d probably resort to writing on paper instead and posting attraction signs. Hasn’t he done that in the past under similar circumstances taken to posting up hand drawn posters and such? He could still get crayons and some paper if he wanted nothing is stopping him from engaging entirely unless he has succumbed to laziness and some kind of crippling depression that overrides his typical obsessive behaviour.

I really don’t think this is true. For one thing, that would be really difficult to even enforce and we know that no one monitors Lucas NEARLY as much as they’re supposed to. Also, he’s been on YouTube commenting on Klickitat’s stuff, and I can’t see why he would be allowed on YouTube and be allowed to make his stupid ass comments BUT not to able to make posts, or to be on YouTube in any capacity but not be on Instagram.

Also that has never happened before. The very minimal times someone/something else has kept Lucas from being online it’s been when he’s in the psych ward and just simply can’t have his phone. I can almost guarantee no one is monitoring his internet usage; the city of Spokane has made it abundantly clear that they cannot or choose not to make time for that sort of thing.
