Myrna and Larry seem to have at least some detached involvement in keeping Lucas out of trouble.
Right now we still have nothing more than a poorly written letter that Lucas claims was from King Roy awhile back - yet Lucas still uses Roy's Elk Kingdom as a way to lure potential mates and/or bribe someone into giving him a girl.

How much of Lucas's "come see my family's property" is an actual belief that he will be welcomed back into his parent's care with open arms and how much of it is just Lucas using it as shitty bait to seduce young women, much to the infamous Meeple Toss + batman pajamas trap on campus?

Much like how families have to cut ties with addicts, everybody has to cut slingload when it comes to Lucas. Having him in your personal life is detrimental to one’s well being I imagine.

There was a post about 4 years ago on Myrna’s Facebook where she posted a picture of Lucas on her profile. It was a typical Lucas selfie with his empty eyes staring at the camera, clearly displaying his profound mental illness.

If a Wernographer knows what I’m talking about and could find it, I’d be very grateful

The caption was something along the lines of “My Lucas is doing so well! He’s in college and has an apartment!” In reality her 38 year old son had already long dropped out of college and was living in a flop house.

The comments from friends were along the lines of “he looks so healthy!” (he did not) and were generally congratulating her on how well her little boy had turned out.

My impression is that Myrna copes with the anguish you mention by totally being in denial about it and her friend circle, seeking her well-being, are indulging that denial. What else would one do for a friend in that situation?

I am still not over him bringing up childhood vacations. Unbelievable! Lots of kids have gone to Disney World or Hawaii once or twice growing up. A nearly 42 year old man thinking that anyone would be impressed by this is beyond delusional.

Going to Disney World twice does not mean your family is rich. Even if they were, things change. He really has no idea how the world works. Since he has no friends he does not understand that tons of other people have gone on vacations like this, many people of modest middle class means. And when some people retire, they have less money then when they were working. This is quite common. But to Lucas, if they can afford to go to Happiest Place on Earth, Disney World, then they must be super rich!

Well, my dog has never stolen money or pawned my shit for money. He doesn't get high and become dangerous or violent to those around him. The only place meth addicts need to be housed is rehab. Also, just because you've got a genetic predisposition to drug addiction doesn't mean you become a drug addict. Your life choices play a role too, both in getting mixed up with drugs in the first place and with making the choice to seek help.

Cutting a drug addict off and not enabling their behavior is a form of tough love that Lucas doesn't understand. We've had to do it to a family member and it wasn't easy, but this person finally went to rehab and got his shit together. This concept eludes Lucas because self-improvement and taking a long hard look at his life is not something he's ever going to do. Sure, his family cut him off, but they still bail him out when they shouldn't.

Not to mention it doesn't appear to even remotely cross his mind that with all the 'rumors' of him being a pedo it might not be the best look for him to do to be publicly bragging about his trips to disneyland. It doesn't exactly help his claims that he's not a pedo

On that note he'd probably cover himself in a bottle of doe estrus if you just switched the label to read 'zoomer bae estrus, extra strong telomere formula' thinking it was a good way to attract the zoomers. Doubly so if someone told him silverbacks roll in piss to get it all over them for the same reason
