Exactly. Lucas is that paranoid that he's unable to think about things such as context or how to restrain himself and respect the personal space of those around him. There's a million reasons why an older man would be having dinner with a younger woman; maybe they're friends, or family. It could be an interview or a business meeting. It literally could be anything, but Lucas' mind can only interpret this in the context of sex.

Lucas' anger has now shifted to all couples (even LGBT), clearly in connection to his own self-entitlement. If he doesn't have a girlfriend, no one can.

One thing I find most interesting, out of all the loveshys the others have at least some other hobby or thought. They all want a fuck mommy to support and care for them so they get sex, attention, basic needs met. It's really a wish of a slave.

You name it the other loveshys have something going for them. Lucas doesn't have that even. He puts zero effort into cooking so we know it's not a passion or care of his, as he gets enough money and time to make something well safe as well as tasty if not higher end. The cooking stuff is him peacocking to get his goal. Now I'm not going to say it's wrong to "show off" to get a mate, that's how society works. I know when girls see my car an eyebrow goes up, I happen to love cars and don't mind putting money into the hobby. Some guys and girls get a car just for that eyebrow up. Lucas is in the latter camp with cooking.

Lucas is nearly 40 and has nothing in his life literally. It's one thing to be hard up on luck, poor, mentally ill to a point you can't live on your own and support yourself. Much like his pro Bernie stance, I really think it's just to come off as a smart liberal leaning dude. Something that in his area and what media says, gets you the girls. Women are attracted to smart, fedoras like that think they are sooooo wise to go "god isn't real"

We know aside all Lucas is not bright, and I don't care much who or what people do or don't worship but Lucas isn't bright enough to do more than parrot an idea with spirituality.

His crush on her is so damn see thru it makes freshly cleaned glass look like coal. She's young, and "progressive" and in the news cycle so a name everyone knows.

It's really gross how fast and bluntly sexual he gets. If you want to lay game, or flirt sometimes it can be a bit crude, sometimes a naughty joke isn't the worst way to get someone.
