Agreed, but I mean he's literally scared of these young women.
He made several videos back in the day about how young atheist girls should be "more christian" (whatever that means) and be aware of how atheist men (meaning only Lucas; it's important to remember that when Lucas speaks of tendencies associated with a group he sees himself in, he's speaking ONLY OF HIMSELF, and trying to mitigate some of his more pathetic social flaws by suggesting that they're not unique to him) are shy and antisocial.
Then this all regressed even further, and he pontificated at length about how atheist girls "came off like lesbians". Forgetting for a moment HOW Lucas thinks he can know strangers' politics and religious attitudes without ever interacting with them, we must remember just how conflicted Lucas is about outward manifestations of liberalism: he very much would like to be seen as a free thinker, a radical, and a revolutionary, but he finds people who assert themselves in this fashion anxiety-provoking. He's spoken many times about how girls who "look punky", with dyed hair,. Piercings, and tattoos, are "trashy". He's voiced his distaste for pins and patches on clothing, and tattoos at great length.
The reality is that Lucas is extremely conservative. His tastes are basic. Comically enough, we've reached a point now where the entire aesthetic of punk, the entire revolutionary costume, has ITSELF become basic and assimilated into capitalism. Lucas's pretenses of political action are wholly reactionary...politics is a cudgel to batter those he's jealous of, and a buttress to his own ego. When he voices attraction to a woman, like a nurse, or a jogger, it's always the most middle of the road, standard, unaffiliated depiction of a woman possible. This is yet another reason why his "stunning dress" pickup line is obviously bullshit. Lucas could give two fucks about women's clothes. He doesn't even care about his own clothing.
Edit: Gee, I seem to recall Lucas eating Reese's like popcorn, and he certainly voiced no objections when Skeletor got him new shoes and a Halloween shirt.
