I've always wondered why he hasn't posted anything associated with the fat acceptance/haes movement. He's used their bullshit a few times. Like everyone in that movement, none of them will date a fat guy, they have to be super in shape, and he has responded to questions about why he won't date a fat woman, with "no that's unhealthy"

Posting fat acceptance stuff and trying to use it to shame zoomers into dating him/claiming they're bigots for not dating him would require him to acknowledge he is in fact fat and essentially disregards the 'I lost over 200 pounds!' argument. He would literally act like homer simpson in the all you can eat seafood episode if such a scenario actually happened. Thinking about it, he's actually pretty similar to sanders in a sense. Lucas has countless videos and posts about how he's going to be a millionaire in x years. Once Sanders cracked the million dollar amount in his bank account, he removed the word millionaire from speeches. In the 70s he railed agasint millionaire senators. Pretty similar to how Lucas is.

replicators canonically don't create something from nothing. it's a matter/energy conversion device that is extremely energy inefficient (in the grand scheme of things) that takes prepared raw materials at an atomic level and through a combination of transporter tech and holosuite tech can duplicate specific patterns of scanned objects. it's one of the reasons you still had mining or other resource gathering in Star Trek, or why "replicator rations" existed on Voyager. both the energy required and the raw materials (along with recycling leftovers) were scarce resources, albeit very flexible ones.

a lot of otherwise knowledgable sci-fi buffs get this sort of detail incorrect a lot.
