I think you're a little confused on the timeline.

1. 7 years ago someone created a fetlife account with the screen name "roflcoptercrash". Curiously the account that links the screen name to ben palmer is also 7 years old.
2. Around 5 days ago the fetlife account in question changed it's location from the UK to Spokane and changed the screen name to "PinkGirl2000"
3. While the account begins catfishing Lucas we here at kiwi farms connect the dots.
4.Ben denies everything while deleting the fetlife account and changing the name on the chess.com account to Michael Malloy. The chess acount hadn't had a login in over 2 years but coincidentally they log in now to delete their bio and change the name on the account.

It can happen with bipolar too, especially in the manic phases, and especially if he's also autistic to some degree. It'll just intensify whatever fixation that's already present when an uncontrolled manic phase hits.

If he wasn't lying in the handful of videos where he says he has bipolar and is off his meds, that plus all the weed and cheap booze he consumes could definitely cause hallucinations, auditory or visual.

He doesn't come off as schizophrenic to me, he comes off like one aunt I have who has bipolar type 1 when she decides she either wants to get drunk or, worse, goes off her meds THEN gets drunk.

She hears, like sometimes to the point of hearing entire conversations from "other people" in her apartment or just outside her apartment door that aren't actually there and sees shit all the time that isn't there if she's manic and it's more likely to happen if she's manic and drinking.


Weed alone, if it's a high THC strain, does that to some people too. THC + unmedicated mental illness can often make for some erratic, alarming behavior.
Even without mental illness, THC can screw some people's brains up until it wears off. One of my friends had to quit smoking entirely as it made him so paranoid that he was convinced there were assassins hiding in his house (that he could hear and see lurking around doorways, behind furniture, etc...) that would murder him if he moved at all and he has no history of mental health issues, he just reacts badly to THC.

If I have way, way more than I should, especially if it's super late at night, the house is mostly dark, and I'm alone, I definitely think I see or hear shit that isn't there. Once, I remember thinking my cat was a tiny man crawling across the floor because somehow I looked at this cat that I've lived with for 11 years while high and had my brain interpret it as a tiny man somehow. It's funny in retrospect but when it was happening it was kind of terrifying.

It also, in those situations, sometimes makes me hear voices that aren't there. It's usually voices of people I know and they're usually just saying my name like they're trying to get my attention.

Until I realized that it only happened when I was incredibly high it used to freak me right the fuck out, now it's more, "Oh, ok, the weed is doing weird shit to my brain this time, whatever."



I do honestly hope he gets back on meds and back into therapy for his mental illness, even if it happens through a court order and involuntarily, because I don't find it at all funny to watch those videos or see those posts and it's very possible he could be dangerous to himself or others or both when in that state.

He'd still be creepy on meds, I'm sure, but I still can't bring myself to not be more concerned than "LOL what a creepy weirdo being completely self-unaware!" when he's very clearly unstable (not just upset/angry/drunk) in a video.

He needs help in that regard, and is so clearly not in a state where he can see that which can be such a fun catch .22 of mental illness, and I hope he gets it before he harms himself or someone else.

You can have multiple comorbid disorders. It's often common for people to have both depression and anxiety for example. It is also entirely possible to have both bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

Also, in regards to the perseverative sterotypy, this is also common to Autism Spectrum Disorder. I've often wondered if Lucas is on the spectrum, on the higher functioning side. His lack of social skills and understanding and his fixation on one topic (telomeres) may or may not be attributed to ASD.
