Exactly. And that right there is the root of Lucas's problems. If given the opportunity to better himself, he will do the exact opposite every single time.
He easily could've stopped broadcasting his insane ramblings across the internet, gone to school, or hell even just gotten a job and he'd have been alright. Instead he rambles on about how we need to embrace socialism, how his jizz is worth its weight in gold and prattles about girls who are far too young to be dating him are agephobic because they won't let a middle aged man cram his grimy unwashed fist into their nether regions.
He doesn't dress well, by all accounts his hygiene is atrocious and instead of being a productive member of society he prattles on about Bernie Sanders and how the deck is stacked against him. To be fair, the deck is stacked against him, but his own actions are what stacked that deck.
I saw this comment he left over at DC channel. He's claiming not to be lazy since he quit smoking and lost weight.
Well the quitting smoking was not something he did willingly. He was forced to quit while he was at Eastern State Hospital, because the hospital banned smoking while he was still locked up in there. Now he's claiming like it some "meritorious" willing act on his part. He was forced to quit by the smoking ban.
A side effect of both meds he was on (Ambilify,Lithium) is weight gain. When he stopped taking his anti-psychotics, that led to some of his weight dropping off. That and he no longer has the money to splurge eating out all the time like he did when he had all that left over financial aid money.

Lucas is also stuck in that fallacy in that many incels are, namely having a girlfriend and having sex on the reg will somehow solve all their other problems in life, which it won't. In fact having a partner like maintaining any relationship also takes work which I can't really see Lucas investing, like ever. If somehow hell froze over and he'd end up with his 18-24 girl he'd still be an insane, unhealthy 40 year old stuck in a government fart box, only that he'd have to maintain that relationship on top of all of the other stuff he doesn't manage to do, like showering regularly. He's not aware of the reality of his situation which I always found quite impressive, but is not unusual in mentally ill people like him.

I love how quickly and easily Lucas transitioned from “I won’t film the homeless, that’s dehumanizing” to “I’ll do it to prove I’m a good person”.

I’m pretty sure what’s happening is the women in his Facebook friends list all interact with him for shits and giggles but they all conveniently have boyfriends. Lucas is too stupid to put it together.

He also claims that any evidence to the contrary are 'myths and rumors and bullshit' and all believed because 'we are fucking idiots.' He follows this up with demanding proof of all claims, in this case proof that he is not a great boyfriend
Gee, I wonder if his many trips to the psych ward, restraining orders, history of domestic violence and getting thrown in jail for nearly two months constitute proof. After all they are an indisputable matter of public record

No experienced sexworker would touch him anyways, unless they were really struggling for money and thought they could chance an encounter. He is visibly mentally ill in a way that sets off alarm bells in most people, and nobody who sells sex services professionally will want to be naked and vulnerable with him. Perhaps a very high streetwalker might, but something tells me he would be really horrible about sexworkers, full stop.
Even escorts who offer the girlfriend experience would likely avoid Lucas like the plague. He wouldn't pass their screening processes for one.

There was a fella on fetlife who was a total incel that hated the fact that white women would fuck everyone else but him. He planned to give poisoned food to homeless white women on the street to take his frustration out on them.
