So let me get this straight, I'm going to continue to go to work but won't get paid, because if I don't go to work they'll burn down the place that isn't paying me? There's no motivation for me to continue to go to work. There's no motivation for the owner of the company to continue to run it if they can't get profit from it. There's a reason "Roof Top Koreans" is a common saying in gun circles. The damage that L.A. experienced as a result was devastating and was felt for years afterwards. This was a horrific event that we should strive to avoid in the future, not something we should model a society off of.

That's not even taking into account his advocation of a violence and looting based supply chain. Even with the order we have today, I've seen bare shelves in the grocery store a couple times over the last few years. The first was during the initial days of the Covid outbreak and another was last week when the lights came back on down here in Texas. It's not a comforting feeling but we bounced back pretty quickly because we actually have a somewhat well ordered supply chain.

Under his system of "Give me free shit or we'll burn it down", there's no incentive to keep the power on to refrigerate food (or power his E-Z Bake Oven), to keep refining and distributing the gasoline and diesel required to move the food from the farms to the store, to drive the trucks or to manage and run, the now burned out, points of distribution.
Hell, there's no way to get the diesel and gasoline that the farms require to run the equipment to harvest the food. We're going back to horse drawn plows at that point and that mode of agriculture will not support the population that we have today.

His plan would result in mass starvation and a catastrophic loss of life.

Even if someone decided to spend hours on Lucas's BS (investigating, charging and showing up for court) it almost certainly wouldn't fall under Washington State's false reporting statute which is meant to go after bomb threats and 'swatting.' It also wouldn't fall under the Spokane municipal statute for misuse of 911 (meant to address prank calls) unless he is specifically and individually warned to stop by a police officer but continues afterwards; that same ordinance allows for interventional services if he somehow managed to keep going and get charged (because Lucas is a nutcase). The state harassment statute would also almost certainly not apply unless Lucas starts threatening a specific person with calling the police on them if they don't fuck him, etc.

It's not worth the paperwork when you can just ignore the calls instead. Intent is difficult to prove without a thorough investigation and the police are not going to do one over some crazy guy who calls claiming everyone is a drug dealer (this isn't unusual among crazy people calling 911). I guess if some beat cop decided that Lucas needed to learn a lesson he could figure something out but it's probably easier to just bust him for things like jaywalking that are easy to prove.

These interactions go to reinforce the idea that Lucas cannot really communicate at all. As in having an exchange of ideas with another human. I'm a bit of a pinko commie myself but as I get older I am more skeptical of anyone who advocates upending the established order even in ways that are for a proposed good. Our world is too interconnected and complex, maintaining stability and a system for complex organization is the only real way to ensure we can manage today’s societal problems. I mean Lucas is beyond the pale in retardation to think that a society can be built on an initial period of wanton looting and destruction to somehow magically revert itself back to some natural process of local community democracy and cooperation. Something about Lucas that baffles me is how he doesn't seem to realize that everyone on the internet, including Gen Z, is not homeless like he is.
