The worst thing about Lucas's suicide threats is how insincere they are.
Now, I don't mean that in that I want him to be serious, and I want him to kill himself, it's just that I don't think he ever would.
For all of his talk about suicide, I've never known Lucas to even make a "cry for help" attempt, never even some weak little scratches on his arm, rather, he uses suicide threats exclusively to attempt to manipulate people into doing what he wants.
Notice i said "attempt", because these suicide-manipulations are NEVER successful....Hell, his own family isnt even moved by this sad theatre of the absurd. No doubt they know all too well how insubstantial these threats actually are. Lucas, who sees himself as God's Gift to teenies, who's more than once described himself as "saving the world", will never commit suicide.
And this is the dirtiest sort of way that threats of suicide are ever used, even though he's entirely unsuccessful at it.
It's just the fact that he tries to get people to do what he wants by threatening to kill himself that shows that Lucas is a predator, a manipulator, and a criminal, albeit an extremely unsuccessful one.

I get the feeling that the reach out from Larry was less "we care about you and love you, Lucas" and more, "Well if he dies on the streets or kills himself we'll probably feel guilty so..."
It's still funny to me that the last birthday gift these alleged millionaires sent to him was a $25 PF Chang's gift card and he tried to flex that on Youtube.

I'm not so sure its a never under any circumstances situation. Lucas is by his very nature a coward who can't handle facing serious consequences. When that happens he either goes nuts and gets aggressive or panics and does whatever he thinks he can to try to get out of it. If he was faced with a truly serious fuckup - like, say, getting irl chris hansen'd trying to fuck a minor and knowing full well he was about to have his life permanently fucked and do serious prison time, with a lifetime as a registered sex offender I could see him possibility being unable to live with that enough to take a bunch of pills or something to that effect. Plenty of people do in such scenarios. Its his worst nightmare scenario - public acknowledgement of being a pedo that he can't lie his way out of as it would be a matter of public record, and even he knows what happens to his kind in prison. He's double fucked in such a scenario - he's both a sex offender against kids and exactly the kind of weak coward who gets eaten alive in prison. He can't even keep his phone away from other hobos half the time, he'd get what little he did have stolen every commissary day
But yeah, faced with the certainty of that kind of prison experience lucas might very well kill himself to get out of it. Especially if he panicked. During ww2 they did plenty of studies on why there were so many incidents of suicide among the germans toward the end. Alot of it was attributed to what they called trauma induced panic - that is to say they knew they were about to be captured and face a hellish life as a soviet POW, or had artillery popping off around them until they lost their shit, panicked and took the first out they could find - either a gunshot or a suicide pill. Its not that uncommon. Hell its what got the original to catch a predator series cancelled back in the day, after they showed up at that guys house and we lost his shit and killed himself
That said, whether lucas's mental state degenerates to the point where he loses enough of his fear and caution to get desperate and do something more overt toward a woman remains to be seen. It could go either way at this point, and assumes he doesn't drop dead of a coronary on some street corner first

Seriously. We all know if he was called out on it, he would never go through with it. He thinks too highly of himself. Usually when people share that they really just don't want to live anymore it breaks my heart and I really feel for them. Not Lucas though. Lucas just uses it as a manipulation tactic to try and get young women to date him. It's not going to happen, no matter how much he begs, pleads, or threatens.

In the video where he tied his hair back the title refers to him as a girl tying his "Easter Bob" back, and in the rite aid video the title talks about your girlfriend's snacks. Im sparing you his ghetto fabulous misspellings.
At first I thought this was just some of his oh so clever wordplay, but it really seems like these references are to himself, right?
