Lucas displays numerous mental health symptoms, social deficits, and behavioral problems. Few Wernologists can resist diagnosing him, or arguing over the proper diagnosis. I hate it. I accept it.
Lucas has, at various times, claimed to be schizophrenic, bi-polar, and a totally sane victim of the pharmaceutical-industrial complex who can't be schizophrenic because he's an atheist. His mother at least seems to accept that he's schizo.
Diagnoses proposed by Wernologists include: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, schizotypal personality disorder, autism, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, and autism.
I prefer to categorize him as a "fat faggot." It's simpler, more accurate.
The discussion regarding Lucas's mental health will no doubt continue, but focusing on the textbook nature of Lucas's problems instead of the cartoon nature of his symptoms is mistake. I encourage Wernologists to laugh at the joke that is Lucas, do not try to explain it yourself.
Lucas is floridly mentally ill, and presents his adoring public with a wealth of interesting and symptoms. My autism wants to put them into 4 categories: his delusions, his moods, his social deficits, and his inability to function. I'm sure any Wernologist worthy of the title could come up with numerous examples for each category.
1. Delusions. There are levels to this. I'm not referencing Lucas's persistent belief that he is handsome and plenty good. Nor do I mean Lucas's understanding that his telomere charged super semen can save the human race if only he can get enough of into the wombs of Gen Z. I'm not even referring to Lucas's way of finding direct, personal meaning where there isn't any (say, a barista's polite smile as she hands you your hot chocolate). Rather, there is strong evidence that Lucas experiences auditory hallucinations. He hears shit. Voices. These "voices on the wind," or "the background sarcasm" are believed to often be antagonistic to Lucas, but there are preciously few examples of him explicitly discussing his experiences with them.
2. Moods. Lucas's volatile moods are a source of entertainment for Wernologists and trolls. He has been described as perpetually on the edge of a crying fit. He is a miserable creature, often in low spirits that he attempts to elevate with over eating and intoxicants. If he is always near tears, he's also always near shouting. He can not control his temper, and is known to spazz out over trivial provocations and asymmetrical, long simmering resentments. From hurling glasses in restaurants, to shouting matches at homeless shelters, Lucas's temper often gets him kicked out of places and makes it difficult for him to get along with people. But Lucas is more than merely unpredictable, or shy or awkward, though it is a monumental task for him to approach or talk to people. He's socially retarded. He misses obvious social cues, and does not understand how he comes across. What's your favorite example? He is mystified by other people, and their motivations when they differ from his own. He ascribes his own desires and thoughts to everyone else. He doesn't recognize that he has atypical thought processes, and seems to believe that everyone is as retarded as he is. He knows about the phenomenon of body language, but doesn't understand it. When a woman blushes, Lucas gets that it might mean something, but is baffled by it and sure to misinterpret it. Encounter Lucas, and he will likely misinterpret much of what you say and do, and much of what he says and does will confuse you. He has a very transactional approach to people. He expects them to behave in predictable ways, based on what he says, and is confused and upset when they don't operate according to his scripts. As a teen had to learn "how to talk to people" and say things like "wassup man" by deliberate instruction (from his little bro, lol) and rote memorization. As a result, Lucas has always struggled to connect with people.
4. He's a Retard. Lucas has a payee for a reason. More than irresponsible, or just operating at the level of an impulsive teen, Lucas is a helpless. He doesn't have the mental or emotional capacity to make practical decisions or lead an independent adult life. He can't plan ahead, follow through, or stick to a task. He struggles with simple adult responsibilities. He is a HS drop out, who, when given $100 by his mother to pay off a bill, spent it on fast food he didn't even eat (thanks @DefunctGames).

Based on this info, it sounds like he appeared in court again yesterday. There is a SOC (stipulated order of continuance) in place/ DP (decline to prosecute or deferred prosecution)

When he's medicated he's able to function just above the level requiring a group home and generally avoids violent outbursts. Without medication he's sleeping on the streets (it's presumed in dirty, crapped briefs) and winding up before the judge for petty crime.

I would say Lucas seems genuinely happier when his Wern persona is suppressed by medication. He actually had an apartment, relatively clean clothes and a presentable haircut, seemed somewhat approachable albeit awkward. Sure his fetish was still there, but he seemed too cowardly to ever say or do anything inappropriate in front of anyone while medicated.
Compare that to the last 3 years I've seen of unmedicated Lucas; he's violent, leaves creepy notes around the city, tries blackmailing for sex, yells slurs at 3-4am, regularly gets into fights with security, lives shelter to shelter, has no real friends, has no relationship with his family anymore, cries himself to sleep, regularly sleeps in the woods due to being banned, regularly gets arrested for petty crimes that you could probably place bets on how long before his next trespass arrest.
Yeah, I'd say the medication has helped, when the fat retard actually takes it. It's not society's fault Lucas refuses every olive branch extended to him
