Its funny, the country has record crime rates and murder numbers that rival that of countries in war and yet, no, the fucking priority should be tax on fucking pets.
It's easy to see why, the federal government is literally just another gang. But then even the fucking Italian Mob in the East Coast back in the 50s had more tact.

I legit wonder whats P.T's grand plan here because it will be election year soon and they have a very short list of people that they havent pissed off in mere four years.

They have no plan. They simply expect that their friends in the STF and such will block anyone from running that threatens them, and if someone does manage to run they will just make it so they are ineffective and blocked.

I m not sure we are going towards a Venezuela, but we sure are going towards a Argentina before Milei level of economic collapse. They don't care and are just looting the country for the sake of looking. They are probably absolutely confident that they will never be arrested or have to pay for their crimes so why care? Fuck you got mine.

The only thing that would really solve things is fedposting IRL and that won't happen because Brazilians who would be willing to do it already left the country, got broken by the system or went to the dark side and are now criminals.

At least the mob had SOME level of standards and they mostly kept their word if you played along. If anything, some legit felt safer under the mob's protection than that of the goverment's.

With the brazillian government, the only difference between them and the favela criminals is that one wears a suit and the other wears flip-flops.

I think Brazil will be able to "hold on" until the next election but if P.T wins again, kiss the nation goodbye.

Worst case scenario for them, they will flee the country to another just as corrupt.

Zurdos only go to rich capitalists countries, during the seventies here when the military took power all the zurdos fled to northern yurop, ZERO went to commie shitholes like cuba or the ussr they wanted to recreate here, some even went to the fucking USA the "evil empire" instead of their commie paradises.

I saw these fucking zurdo cunts fleeing to yurop when macri was in power but oh they didnt come back when their fucking nigger alberto won no sir they stayed in the first world voting and shilling for that nigger, defending the longest lockdown in the world while living large over there, while hyperinflation fucking destroyed us, NONE came back to live in the shit they created and neither did all the faggots who left during the seventies come back because most were raking it in with their third-world-victim grift

Fuck them and I'm glad they were thrown out of planes by the hundreds

The new PIX monitoring is already causing a absolute firestorm in the Brazilian society. There are quite a few reports of people already dropping it and demanding to be paid in cash only, the conspiracies about DREX (BRL CBDC) are now looking way less schizo. There are industrial levels of cope in the left and the Lula defense squad, with shitloads of MAVs (Militante em Ambiente Virtual, basically shills) going all "This is fake news, there is no new taxes, there is nothing to fear if you are not trying to evade taxation" (Yes they have unironically taken the "Nothing to fear if nothing to hide citizen" road on this). The biggest cope here is insisting there is no taxes on Pix itself, ignoring the issue that people would likely be way less mad if they had decided to charge for the transactions and that the real point of the monitoring of the entire system is to force people who are poor as shit to pay Income Tax by counting the cents they have to force them over the threshold of the tax brackets.

Oh and by the way just as this massive pile of shit hit the fan they suddenly discover a new plot to kill Lula and Moraes. Totally real guys.

This country is so fucking dependent on that app for absolutely everything, what a ridiculous thing for him to even consider
Dude, when Xitter got banned for a while, we had plenty of people cheering on the dickhead, saying this was a welcome necessity against the dependence on a toxic social network and a necessary protection for "muh estado democrático de direito." You bet they will cope like that if Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram get shafted.

I legit wonder if Brazil will have learned dick by the end of these 4 years.

Probably not, brazillians are suckers for punishment.

Seriously, how can the labour party make absurdily unpopular decisions one after the other like that and not expect it to blow up on their faces ? Either they know they are untouchable or they are just that arrogant.

Totally not a smoke screen/psyop/distraction for the abuse of executive and judicial powers. Nothing to see here, citizen.

HAHAHAHA, no. Lula still leads against every projected adversary in next year's election. I kid you not.

Only now do we have something that could hurt Lula's popularity among the populace with the whole PIX taxation plan, and even then we have plenty of simps coming up with excuses to cope and take the blame off the old bastard's shoulders. I do not believe a single person that publicly says "I may be leftist, but I will never vote for Lula or PT again after this." They will ALL vote for these criminals once the big media machine runs to grind the reputation of whoever runs against them, because the majority of these are NPCs despite braying about their education.

I'm seriously leaning on the former. They have the entire Supreme Court under their pockets, and they are the ones calling the real shots. Congress and Senate vote for something? Supreme Court needs to approve. Accusations against any member of the government? Supreme Court throws all files to the dustbin and cites skeevy legalese to justify it. Any presidential candidate appears? The Supreme Court defangs them so as to protect our Pater Pauperiae who can do no wrong and is a constant victim of evil misinformation plots. The regional elections shoved off most of Lula's allies? Big deal, none will do anything against the almighty all-knowing Supreme Court.

Totally not a smoke screen/psyop/distraction for the abuse of executive and judicial powers. Nothing to see here, citizen.
This was such a nothingburger, it fizzled out in two days tops.

But hey, whatsername won a Golden Globe! Yay!

Okay, I guess I will have to doublepost.

The general and silent consensus is that this shambolic government is dead on the water. We are on the verge of recession, and nobody responsible for the economy has any freaking idea on how to contain the rampant rise in prices for even the most basic of stuff. Not even during the goddamn Covid-19 pandemic were we charged this much for stuff like rice, beans, coffee, season's fruits and veggies, decent meat and fuel.

Only boomers and gen-X'ers who still get their news from TV and newspapers believe Lula is doing fine. Everybody else is growing sour on the old fucker. Every single one of his promises has being either not fulfilled or completely subverted. Every attempt at recovering his image is either met lukewarmly or outright derided. Instead of saying "we'll try something different to stave off the expensiveness," the bastard literally tells his countrymen "if it's too expensive, just don't buy it." Every single day he and his cabinet insult our intelligence with this kind of stunt, and there's still people willing to support them and their hackneyed decisions.

Oh, BTW, DOGE affirms the US Deep State paid decent money to hinder Bolsonaro's campaign in 2022. I don't doubt that, but I'd rather see the receipts. This is no light affirmation.

I agree with need the receipts, BUT interfering with international affairs sure is America's M.O...

Then again, even if its proven they cheated, whats the point? Its not like we can take these years back and Im very sure the Supreme Court will just pull something out of their asses to say that "Its ok if they cheated this one time because we said so".

The state of that nation is just....sad by this point. And a fair warning as to what happens when you let people that dont even know their ABCs vote.

Datafolha: Lula's approval rate plummets to 24%, the worst number across his three tenures.
11-point downfall in a two-month space is unheard of; Rejection rate rises from 34% to 41% according to the research.

Fucking ouch. Datafolha is the most "credible" statistics center in Brazil and they usually manipulate the numbers to give the most favorable edge to PT and the left. Not even Bolsonaro lost that much trust. And considering how much of an ego-driver shitheel Lula is, it must be sticking hard on him.

Now, if you would please consult this graphic...

It's joever.

Like clockwork, as soon as the approval of the government collapsed they come out and unveil new details about the "Coup Attempt". They did a entire media blitz about it, I had to do some stuff in the street during early morning so I caught the Bom Dia Brasil (Good Morning Brasil) on Globo and they spent pretty much the first half of the program just doing hype for the new accusations which are the exact same shit as they have been saying since 2023 but somehow different.

Worth pointing out the main "source" of most accusations is a guy named Mauro Cid, Lieutenant Colonel of the BR Army. who has already gone into record saying he is being literally told to say things and coached on what to mention and that the prosecution will straight up demand he changes his testimony to fit what they want.

Then again, even if its proven they cheated, whats the point?
Just so as this old senile crook don't go down as some democracy savior or whatever bullshit leftard shills or media come up with. Just so as people look back and remember Lula for being the mafiosi scumbag he is.

Recently we've won an Oscar for Best International Movie. Said movie was nothing but commie sob story of some journo dumbass who went missing because he get involved with commie guerrilla and his wife goes out to search for his whereabouts. The actress for the main role, Fernanda Torres was congratulated by Dear Leader Squidman for the movie. Given that she's part of the local filmmaking circlejerk which is full of champagne socilaists I'm not surprised.

This is all the Armed Forces' fault. If they were competent enough these commie fucks would've all had the same fate as Vladimir Herzog and Carlos Marighella. They're the ones responsible for letting uni campuses here become the degenerate leftie cesspit they currently are. They're the ones who allowed all left-wing parties to dispute elections. They're the ones responsible for making Brazil more fucked up than it already was giving electoral ammunition to left-wing parties to frame the right-wing for being the sole responsible for all the issues in this country.

Had the Military done their job right all these commie croonies wouldn't be heard from.
