God, gotta love how they put more work into the cross-section of the stomach than the rest of the picture. I see where your priorities are, sis.

I thought the whole PREMISE of being asexual is... don’t like/want sex? This new “some asexuals like sex” thing is completely loony.

A lot of these “asexuals” just have suppressed libidos from being on high doses of SSRIs and if they stopped taking them would suddenly find they’re quite sexual after all (Jake Alley, anyone?) but the lack of self-awareness is astounding. I guess it’s just youth in most cases and they’ll grow up and be horrified at what lives on the Internet forever.

That's what any rational person would think. However, tumblr asexuals like to believe that you don't have to be "attracted" to whomever you're having sex with to find the experience enjoyable. Somehow. I guess they just view their queerplatonic partners as just a set of genitalia to stimulate their own genitalia with. Must be nice to date them.

That first comic reads like someone who has never actually been on or asked out on a date before. Though I guess that explains how Luna has been sporting the “free hanging tie” look since 2015 and has yet to meet someone to tell her that it looks fucking stupid.

Also there’s something amusing about how her comic started off with her being an idealistic goth chick persona that all these boys just can’t stop hitting on before it eventually became about how much of totes asexual enbie she is. Makes me wonder if you could find the exact moment that change happened, presumably because she got bitter that the fantasy 2015 of Luna wasn’t happening.

It's interesting to see how much feminine they used to portray themselves as. The bowtie has mostly been there, but there was also the lipstick, the longer hair, and the absence of that hideous plaid "shirt" that looks like it has a zipper in it.

For people confused, from what I understand from my encounters, the tumblr definition of asexual is the following: You can have, want, and enjoy sex. The only requirement is you don’t look at any other human being and think ‘I want to fuck them’.

Really. That’s it. I think it’s the product of a basic misunderstanding of socializing in day to day life, that the average person looks around thinking of how they want to bone everyone they see.
