Artcow Luna Tiny / Sara Elizabeth O'Hern / Anonymous-Asexual / AnonymousArtist - Fake troon, fake asexual, possible art thief

it's sad to say that anonymous asexual's autism brigade has come at a screeching halt, she rarely posts and she usually just streams, however she doesn't save any videos of her streams. anybody interested in trying to see what one of her streams are like? i am.

Why does she draw all these dudes like the green Anonymous figure from 4chan?

Back when art "ask blogs" were popular on tumblr this was the generally accepted way to physically represent an anon in your comic panels. Before the anonymous ask icon was the ball with sunglasses, it used to be a grey silhouette of a man's head and shoulders. It's just indicative that Luna was raised by Tumblr.

Looks like the reason she hasn't posted in a while is because jobs are really hard on my mental health y'all.

Oh wait, she jobless now.

You know, I don’t really get the artists looking for commissions because they say they’re strapped for cash, only to draw hard lines against such broad subjects that they won’t accept money for. Especially such a vaguely defined and lucrative subject like NSFW.

If you don’t want your regular pen name attached to a porn/pinup commission, then fair enough use a different pseudonym for those or stipulate to the commissioner to keep that info private, but vetoing them entirely is like leaving money on the table. You’re being paid to draw shit, not judge people for liking titties.

It especially doesn't make sense for her to outright say no to ANY NSFW because she's drawn fairly graphic/obviously sexual vore porn before using her own persona, lol. I think she also had a blog where she rp'd vore/micro stuff with people who sent in asks. I'd understand if it was like "no sex" or "no x fetish", but the idea of not wanting your artist name associated with that kind of stuff is long out the window at this point.

I completely forgot about Luna until the thread updated. Willing to bet she quit her job because of "mental health."
Eh, I give it even odds she was fired for being a shit employee. Coming in late, fighting with co-workers, constant whining about her duties, ect.

came for the title, nothing in OP about it and i am NOT looking thru 29 pages of fuck
so whats this about art theft?

Just because someone will do something for her own gratification, it doesn't mean this obligates her to do it for cash for a stranger on demand. See, e.g., sluts.

Anyway, we have enough people in the world who take their ethics out back and shoot them for a bit of cash; they tend to gravitate toward government, and I'm for pretty damn sure we don't want Luna here running for office.

Now that I've gotten done defending someone who would probably as soon scalp me as look at me, I do idly wonder if her ethics extend toward not hassling people for rejecting work because, for instance, "I don't want to draw a cutesy uwu lesbian couple."

drawing weird fetish art is the only way a mediocre artist can make money online, so either she'll give in or go get a real job again
(or move back in with mom and dad and mooch off them, which is the most likely result)

I don't really see doing a few nsfw pieces as a matter of ethics unless you buy into the notion that all art is political or should be viewed through a political lens. It's one thing to reject some obvious creeps, but NSFW covers a wide variety of subjects outside of explicitly pornographic contexts, and to veto everything that might apply is crazy in my opinion.

Besides, I've noticed it's a trend on Tumblr that commission artists will often include long lists of supposed "hard no"s like certain subjects, fictional pairings, or characters alongside their prices not so much because they actually care (in fact some will do commissions of subjects that are almost exactly the same as the vetoed subject and bend themselves into pretzels trying to explain how they're different) but because it's another means to virtue signal that you're in with the woke crowd. And considering Luna considers quite a few creepy fetishes "sfw" just on the grounds that everyone is clothed does ring as more than a tad hypocritical.

As I'm constantly told by non-religious people, ethics isn't the sole domain of the religious or political. But it doesn't hurt my feelings if you'd like to reverse course on that.

Well, I never said she wasn't a hypocrite. I'm just arguing a principle, and principles don't care who you are. Artists are free to express, and if they don't want to express your expressions just because money, they don't have to and, more importantly, they're not wrong to refuse.

Christ almighty aren't you a friggin gift. Ethics would be not drawing nazi propaganda or child porn, not just a shitty sketch of two cocks touching or full frontal nudity of someone's D&D character. If you've never had to do a job you hate to make cash, either because you're too young or too spoiled, then kudos and congrats, I hope the view is wonderful up there on your high horse.
The rest of us like surviving, and surviving in this industry means taking jobs

No one is saying she HAS to, but it's pretty friggin stupid to cry that you're hungry and then refuse a free meal because it has onions on it. You can do it, and moralfags will defend your right to do so, but it doesn't mean you aren't a retard.

it's not like her only options are draw dicks or starve. there are still plenty of jobs out there any schmuck with a bachelor's degree can get. not the greatest jobs, maybe, but a steady paycheck, as opposed to hoping and waiting for commissions every month.

Christ almighty aren't you just a friggin psychic, Miss Cleo. Absolutely nothing you said there is true--but this thread is not about me, so the extent to which you are wrong will just have to remain a mystery. But I hope the view is wonderful up there on your high horse.

Seriously, chill your ass out. I'm saying if she doesn't want to do it, she doesn't have to, and getting downright offended that she won't draw porn for you, your mom, or anyone but herself is ridiculous and, honestly, kind of cowish. I don't know why you think I'm judging you, especially as I don't pretend to know you (though you surely act like you know me).

I said it’s retarded, not offensive, and I also said she doesn’t have to, so nice reading skills.
There’s a big difference between being angry and calling both you and Luna stupid, congrats on not being able to see that tho.

Edit: also the only thing I said about myself is that I like surviving? I just reread your little tantrum and realized it doesn’t actually respond to anything I said so I guess cool story, bro.

You’re a riot, I forgot how bad autists are at reading people, but by all means if you find my behaviour cowish feel free to follow my antics or make a thread, it would possibly be the only thing on here more boring than your posts.

Christ in a handbasket, I go to bed and come back to a full-blown slap fight. Shitty doodles made by an e-beggar are srs bsns.

No is saying that Luna has no right to reject commissions - by all means she can go right ahead, less competition lol - and certainly no one is so invested in Luna that they're offended by the thought that she would reject them. However the flip side to that is that no one has to utilize her services, and when it comes to an already competitive area like online art commissions (mainly because every twat with a DA account thinks their shit is good enough to pay for) when the amount of subjects you're willing to cover is less than the ones you don't, and you're quite frankly not good enough at the subject you are willing to do to garner interest, the end result is that the vast majority of people will simply write you off as being too much of a hassle to work with - even if their commission wasn't something on the rejection list.

Hell, this doesn't apply to just NSFW material in Luna's case. She also can't appear to do backgrounds, multiple characters, props, different faces, or any sort of fantasy material. Sure, she has a right to not do those, but that's over half the art commission market that she can't cater to right there.

Finally, the other thing about artists like Luna is they tend to not get how their "no" lists limit their own markets, and often act like they're entitled to people commissioning them or getting money just for being """"oppressed""" and, lo and behold, look at how the commissions have worked out for Luna so far:
