Who would even notice this? Why would anybody be like "WHY ARE YOU CALLING THEM YOUR PARTNER, I THOUGHT SHE WAS YOUR GIRLFRIEND," nobody would do that.

You're far more likely for people to just assume you're an item if you call someone your "partner," even if it's meant in a platonic sense of "yeah, I work with this person."

At this point Luna is just a lesbian, but a closted one. A lot of the people who are fake ftm transgender people (tucutes) tend to be lesbians that have internalized homophobia, internalized misogyny, or both. Most people also wouldn't care. Fuck I've experienced straight people who will use partner over husband or wife in a professional setting.

Diamond? I don't know if this means they're SU fan or not but why would you name yourself that? If it's Diamond's masc day maybe he try binding to look masculine.

I call my brother's girlfriend his partner, because they've been together over a decade and have three kids together but never married. So girlfriend doesn't really convey that, but common-law wife is too cumbersome to use all the time. Partner covers the bases, even though it sounds impersonal.

It's telling the questioner is one of the grey anons - because this is someone making a good-faith effort to understand, but Toothpaste just has to condescend about how they're too normie to get how enlightened she and her girlfriend are. It really should have been another 'character', but instead it's the form all the 'mean society doesn't get me uwu' randoms are that she regards as the enemy. On its own, it seems fairly innocuous. But taken as a pattern, it's clear.

I mean, it's not like we needed more evidence that she's a thin-skinned asshole looking for extra ways to be offended while indulging in the worst transtrender nonsense, but Toothpaste will always provide.
