Have you ever listened to a up beat sounding song and looked up the lyrics, only to find out it's extremely dark and depressing, or vice versa? That is what Lyrical Dissonance is, a song who's lyrics do not fit the tone of the music
EXAMPLE(though this ones pretty tame compared to others)
Shipwrecked is a song that sounds like the swaying of a boat with happy little synths in the background. It's about a guy telling a girl (presumably his lover) that'll he'll go out sea with her with a crew, decapitate said crew because he wants to be shipwrecked with her, and almost starve to death, just to be shipwrecked with her. And it's implied at the end he has done this before.
 
Shooting Star-Bad Company (about a rock star who ODs at the end. Heavily implied to be about Hendrix)

Every Breath You Take-The Police (Stalking. 'Nuff said)

Jump-Van Halen (Someone encouraging a person to commit suicide by jumping. At least that's how David Lee Roth tells it)
