Apple is a cult. The Vision Pro is going to be a complete flop and the Zucc is going to be BTFOing iToddlers with their $3,500 View-master when the Quest 4 releases. The Vision Pro doesn't even have a top headstrap, and it has to be plugged in to a cable at all times, making it on par technology wise as the Valve Index which came out in 2019.

And no OpenXR support. So every existing mixed reality application will have to be rewritten for the iToddlers toy in Swift (as if thats ever going to happen, lmao)

The most notable one has to be the "Special Commitment Center" in McNeil Island off of Tacoma, WA. A literal pedophile island. In the 90's states figured out that it is completely legal to use involuntary committal to keep chomos away from society. SCC is a rehabilitation facility ran by the state's health department and not by corrections. While it's technically possible to leave pedophile island, the process is extremely difficult and convoluted. My guess about the emphasis on it being a "rehabilitation facility" to the public is so that the ACLU doesn't sue them as the only people who the ACLU always defends is chomos.

To add on to your comments on pedophiles in prison. Contrary to popular belief, they aren't always just going to get killed if someone pulls their paperwork. What will generally happen is they just get the fuck beaten out of them by one of the gangs or a few people. After that, the pedophile and whoever beat them up are put in the hole. The pedophile is then kept in the hole until they can be transferred. So it's a constant cycle of; living in fear that someone will pull your paperwork, getting badly beaten, getting put in the hole and losing all your shit because you're getting transferred. Until you die or get released.

Somehow this is considered more humane then just killing them. If you just want to torture them I'd say it's pretty effective at that. I don't condone torture, but if anyone deserves torture it would be a pedophile. So I don't blame anyone if they don't really give a shit about that.

He acts like a complete dickhead to both clerks he speaks to throughout and they don't exactly turn the other cheek. This is done for indefinite detainment. Once they finish their sentence, they can be involuntarily committed on mental health grounds. The idea is that even once they've finished their sentence, if they are deemed to have a "mental abnormality" or "personality disorder" and are likely to commit sex crimes again, they can be indefinitely involuntarily detained via civil commitment. This is legal under Kansas v. Hendricks.

A guy I went to high school with was arrested in his early 20's for molesting an underage girl while she was passed out at a party at his house. Spent 8 years in prison. After he got out, he was busted by his probation officer for possessing a smart phone. He was sent back to prison for parole violation and the state moved to have him involuntarily committed. He's now in a mental health facility where he will spend the rest of his life until whenever the state decides they want to let him out.

It's kind of crazy that if he had just shot a clerk dead while robbing a liquor store, he would probably be a free man right now.
