I feel like child characters dying in violent ways isn't a fundamentally bad thing. I think horror movies/series/books that do that add a level of realism to their stories, as a villain/force/whatever that is evil enough to not hesitate to harm children adds to the scare factor. The scat and child nudity shit is gross as fuck if both of them are in a sexual context.
