"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

They've just bred the next generation of Goblin CEOs out of this fucking demon whore.

I sometimes think Null just says stuff to annoy those of us who have been on the Internet a while.

IEEE is "I-triple-e" not IE3 which was a horrible web browser. The I stands for institute, not Internet.

IETF is actually part of the Internet Society, not IEEE. There's certainly some members with overlap.

You can tell the difference because IETF came from glowies and academics and IEEE from people who work for a living.

I need these clips, they have to be somewhere on the farms. I have a new ringtone I suspect ...

This is the real problem. Capitalists (the famous pigbarons from the political comics of the 1800s and stuff) just care about money and so they're relatively easy to deal with. Slimy bureaucrats who want power are the fucking bane of everyone's existence. Here's a famous one, probably a eunuch:

Reminds me of a C. S. Lewis quote.
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
Not exactly one to one, but the underlying need for control seem pretty dead on.

The minute 41 of the last stream where Josh describes the process by which trannies and other undesirables put themselves in administrative positions of key infrastructure is so fucking important.

And thankfully Josh managed to be succinct enough -even though he couldn't coin a good name- that it would make a great clip to share around on the Internet. Kick limits clips to a minute and Rumble's clipping seems only available to the creator. Is there a way to get a clip without downloading the whole video? Maybe if Elissa clips is looking at this thread? I wanna send it to all my friends. Maybe @Null could put it on Tiktok to get soem zoomies on board

The issue that Burnham has is that his predictions were wrong. He believed the managers would usurp the capitalists. In a way, I suppose that the capitalist class is smaller and more nepotistic than ever, but there are definitely still capitalists and the wealth inequality is worse than ever.
You are right that there are still capitalists out there, but I think you're missing the more historical definition of capitalist that was understood in Burnham's day. A capitalist was meant as someone who's singular vision and competence was the sole thing holding an industrial entity together, not just someone in a business who's focused entirely on money. Their empire can exist separately from the system™️. They're more like a king of a fiefdom than a CEO. Think someone like a Henry Ford, John Moses Browning, John Rockefeller. Those people basically don't exist anymore. And if they try to exist, once those visionary people's businesses reach a certain size the managerial system doesn't allow them to grow any further without integrating the system into itself at a fundamental level. You must accept our experts into your empire, or else. Think HR departments, for example. That's what Burnham meant by captialists being usurped by managerialism. Wealth inequality is sort of irrelevant in this case, it can exist and be worse or better in either system.

Hey @Null did the JagexFaggot block the KF Twitter account and is he seething?
