Don't know if you already have this one.

Chase bank apparently got a bug on their ATMs, they basically failed to properly clear a check before making the funds available, meaning if you try to deposit a bad check to your account, you could immediately withdraw the amount from your debit card. This is basically the same classic check fraud, only through the ATMs.

This went viral among the demographic of socio-economic factors, so they started writing bad checks to themselves and raiding the ATMs.











The banking minority would not take this lying down though, so they fixed the bug and charged their accounts for the amount withdrawn.

And post it on twitter

I wonder how many nignogs doxxxed their bank account information on Tiktok tho. Not that accounts in the -10000s are good for anyone...

I believe the bug was there only for one day, so not that many, most of them ones that tried were late to the party ( :story: )
