Here is the transcript so you don't have to go to gay ass Reddit.
Don't have anyone to tell, not sure anyone even cares. But I was training over the weekend on quick draws, clearing jams, etc. I had a few snap caps randomly loaded in my magazine.

Well tonight I got into a huge argument with my family and I decided "Fuck It. They don't want me, they don't have to suffer my presence anymore"

I sat down, grabbed my handgun, pulled the slide back just enough to see brass, against my head, and... click. I'm thinking theres no way in hell its a defective round or it's jammer or whatever. Pull the slide back and a little red plastic round drops out.

So now Im sitting here with my dog in my lap. I don't want to die right now. I'm calm and safe.

Im supposed to be dead. And I dont know how to feel about still living.

Anyway, if anyone reads this do me a favor and get yourself a treat today. Be kind to yourself.

Edit: thanks for the replies. It means a lot. Ive already disabled my firearms and locked the parts away.

Absolute kek. Got mad at his family, grabbed handgun, about to end it all, didn't go off because it had snap caps. My neezy, I'm fucking wheezing right now.

This is why the statistics show merely owning a gun increases suicide risk, because in the heat of the moment a quick exit seems like a good idea for a lot of people.

Even just locking up the gun, let alone locking the gun and ammo in different parts of the house, is a huge HUGE deterrent.

Suicide should be classified as "actually deliberate, overcoming obstacles" (which is rare) and "pissed/depressed and trying to show it" (which is super common).

Honestly, the way Josh speaks about things like race now is much funnier than when he went on unhinged rants about niggers. Painstakingly referring to "geophagy" instead of porch monkeys just draws more attention to the ludicrous nature of the situation. Quite amusing.

I've stumbled across a new generation of AI-made slop online while looking for monty updates. Some random law website tries to cover the implications of the rekieta v quest case by shitting out an LLM-written clickfarm and it gets who is suing who the wrong way around.

The entire website is fake. It's not just a journo page running shit through GPT so they don't have to turn their notes into writing or a gaming website scraping rumors from reddit and setting it to auto-upload so they get ahead of any news, it's built from the ground up to be AI stories to farm clicks. Didn't know the dead internet theory had got so far now, but 'fun' to find out.
