I will shill the recently released Jon Bois/Secret Base (normally sports people)'s 3 part series on Ross and the Reform Party which I just finished last night. It's very good and it quickly becomes a clown show once Ross decides not to run, and the only successful candidate- wrestler Jesse Ventura aka the Governor of Minnesota- is alienated by the party.

It's very good and it quickly becomes a clown show once Ross decides not to run, and the only successful candidate- wrestler Jesse Ventura aka the Governor of Minnesota- is alienated by the party.

Perot suspending his campaign was the beginning of the end and was a massive mistake. We would have been better off if he continued till November even if Clinton still won, Clinton was a deep state adjacent dirtbag but he was still the better option compared to Bush I. Forcing the issues would have probably given third parties more legitimacy in the long run, because maybe the media wouldn't have been able to fuck him over as hard as possible in '96 like they actually did.

This guy is insane, obviously autistic, possibly a danger to the people around him (very very likely), but also so absurd that it's kind of funny even with how concerning the stuff he is saying is.
