"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

Further proof that /tv/ is objectively the worst board.
Seeing Star Wars, LOTR and capeshit higher on the list than Boondock Saints and Leon the Professional kind of says it all.

I tried to watch LOTR recently with my husband who hadn't seen it since he was a kid, and he was embarrassed to have shown it to me because it's such a cheesy movie for little kids. It felt like trying to sit through Harry Potter and we just couldn't do it. I had a similar experience trying to rewatch the very first Star Wars film that I hadn't seen since I was little. None of those movies age even remotely well for people who actually grow up, and it has nothing to do with effects quality.

If you liked being mad at Making a Murderer I'd suggest watching the other Netflix documentary series 'The Devil Next Door'.
tl:dr: Israel tries to lynch an American (who we willingly hand over because we're cucks) based on shitty Soviet-provided evidence and nearly 40 year old witness testimony.

The lotr movies are a bit moderncringe but the first star wars is timeless kino. The entire franchise has gained an unfortunate reputation recently thanks to disney corporation, but eventually this, too, shall pass and we will be free once again to discuss the beauty of the original.

The Boondock Saints is a fun movie. That's not the same as being a "good" movie. I mean, come on, it's basically knock-off Tarantino.

Lord of the Rings are well done. Like if you're trying to say they're on par with the (weak) Harry Potter films, I don't even know what to say. The movies have become the definitive Tolkien aesthetic for a reason.

lotr is the kind of childrens story that is enjoyable to adults as well
harry potter is the kind of childrens story that stops being enjoyable once you age out of your teens
star wars at this point is only for manchildren

The Boondock Saints is such a shitty movie and Leon is ruined by the creepy pedo shit. You have pleb tier taste.

Boondocks falls apart when the (spoilers) father is revealed to them. It speeds up the plot and it should’ve just been them.

Leon was going to be creepy pedo shit supposedly, and the lead actor was going to bail if they didn't change it. IDK if that one's true; it could just be some rumor that never wen away. It basically became a girl with nightingale syndrome and the dude doesn't reciprocate because he's not a pedo, so he ends up being a surrogate father.

Regardless of personal tastes for quality and quirks themselves, it's a little odd to respond that way in regards to another adult's lack of interest and tolerance for children's entertainment being consumed by adult demographics. Insult attempted for offense taken, I suppose. It is what it is.

@Null any chance of you posting the pictures of the pigeons? I like the lil' gremlin birds.
I hope this will suffice.

They really do look like weird, adorable little puppets out of the Dark Crystal or some shit. Those little eyes just melt my cold, dead heart.

You talk like a fag and your shit's all retarded

Null, if you're looking for something to talk about this week (because so little has happened), maybe contrast the Ralph secureserver leak with your services. You just sold a ton of coins and utilize gumroad; how likely is a customer base leak? How can your customers avoid getting their details leaked?

There's been some Trisha Paytas drama. TL:DR She was calling Keemstar a pedo because his girlfriend is really young. They had some back and forth and eventually Trisha went on Keems podcast. They spent the whole podcast talking shit about Ethan Klein. Ethan started calling Trisha Judas and a traitor and talking shit about her on H3H3. Trisha made a video calling out Ethan's mom because she sent Moses a text saying if Hila miscarried Moses and Trisha are to blame. Ethan backed up his mom on the Families podcast and now Trisha is back to calling out Keem for dating a younger woman.
