My original account is still banned. I can't be arsed to create a sixth account to be banned so I don't have one.

There was a brief reprieve after Elon (but not given right way - it took several appeals), but then I was slapped back in the clink.

I'm generally positive toward Elon, but I think the real explanation is that the old regime has lots of residual representation at X, in terms of old code and woke moderators. It's like a cancer that has tendrils wrapped around every system.

He hasn't bothered enough to root all that out. If you're very popular, like Catturd and dog-killer Ian Miles Chong you will get bailed out, but if you're a nobody Elon doesn't give a shit.

There is more that I could say that would powerlevel me so I should shut up now. Suffice it to say that this shit and Elon's false promises have significantly affected my life in real material terms, despite his promises to help us out.

I knew Musk wasn't to be trusted about X censorship the day I saw this picture (see: attachment). I don't think anyone who has interest in free speech was delusional enough to believe that a guy with this much money and power would step out of line and not kiss the ring like everyone else. Sure, some people got their accounts back at the beginning, but they're just a drop in the ocean.
