Giving up coffee for a time can be rough at the start especially. Excedrine works with a mixture of acetaminophen, aspirin, & caffeine, all in one pill, to stave off headaches from morning coffee withdrawal, making cessation less physically intense during the withdrawal period. Depending upon personal conditions, using caffeine rather than coffee (via Excedrine) can offer comfort during week 1, but that’s between you & your lord or beliefs, in general, on matters of staying true to the letter or not. What happened to the ginger shots? I tried that by the way. I didn't really notice anything. It was $3.79 for a 2 fl oz. bottle of the brand "Suja" on a buy one get one promo. It may have not been the right thing. There were many different flavors, but I got the one that was only ginger. I checked the ingredients and it had some apple juice with ginger as the number one ingredient. I thought it tasted good, but I also really like ginger. It's something I usually eat in the form of that asian style pickled ginger.
 
It's all those weird ethnic cheeses he eats, they gave him the diseases. Should have stuck to good ol' American processed cheddar, you can't get sick from that, it's like eating plastic, completely inert.

Sucks that there was no stream but no biggy, if you're sick then you're sick. Won't make superchats but maybe a mid-week stream of strictly fun content could make up for that. Gotta admit I miss the Tuesday night streams back when each steam lasted for only a couple of hours max instead of 3-4.

If there's anything I liked about the 'rona pandemic, it's this: it put a stop to America's bullshit shame ritual its workers go through when they call out sick for the day. Even if you were dripping snot all over the floor, managers would be all like 'Boo fuckin hoo, get back to your station clown'. I even had one gig where I was still told to go into work when I had the flu so I brought a thermometer in and showed them I was at a temp of 105F just to be able to go to the hospital without getting canned. Then when covid happened, if you so much as sneezed then those same people would freak out and throw a cross at you telling you to get your ass home before you kill them. Apparently Europe just lets you take the day off just because you said you're sick, no questions asked. If that's true, must be nice.

I remember becoming an adult and being absolutely flabbergasted the first time I was asked to go get a fucking doctor's note for the flu. Not only do I not get paid for the day since I work hourly, but I have to go waste $100 getting a doctor's note just so I won't get in trouble. I will totally agree with the left that worker's rights in America are completely fucked up.
 
I think you would get a lot more support if you did more to advertise / request it. You are far too nice for someone in a do or die situation. You have the eggs down below and mention it once a week on your show and thats basically it. Their used to be a donation bar but that seems to have been removed. The support button never gets used because most people probally think its a tech support button rather than a donation guide. Most people probally dont click the eggs to see what it is, and even fewer probally use the search option to find the money threads.

You have a lot of moral hang-ups about ebegging despite being the rare person in the world in a position where its actually righteous to do so. I member it took years of people bitching before you finally started accepting superberries on MATI. From what I understand, thats now become a helpful source of income. I think because you're the one in the fire you assume that everyone has the same awareness of the situation as you do but that's just not the case. Most people on this site probably have no idea who you are, what the sites financial situation is or the deplatforming problems you face. Even if they do, most people wont donate until they're actively reminded or asked to do so. I assume most users log in, check notifications, look at followed threads and then leave. They don't look for a donation link or think about supporting the site because the idea isn't fresh in their mind. They come here everyday in an autopilot routine. Interupt the routine and force supporting you into the forefront.

I know you don't want to go down the somethingawful route with bought accounts, but you can at-least be a wikipedia style grifter and cram a nuisance banner at the top of the site or something. Maybe donators could even create funny donation banners for you like how it works with sponsored posts to encourage people to click it and see whats going on.

These are my ideas. I don't think they're too invasive and most sites do things like them already. 🤷‍♂️
1. Every time someone logs in default them to the donation thread instead of the front page.
2. Once a week send a please donate notification to all accounts.
3. Once a month send donation reminders to all emails by default. (Might already happen idk, I donate to the streams not the site)
4. Dynamically insert a donation banner post into each thread page like how normal forums do with actual advertisements.
5. Put the donation banner at the bottom of each page like how the kiwieggs are below as I type this.

Sorry about the effort post. I like you and this site but wish you would cram support options down peoples throats more aggressively. You aren't going to be rewarded for being a good boy, so shake the kiwis down, eat ze bugs, and shill the silly rumble products. There's cheddar on the table but you're unwilling to take it due to imaginary moral rules in your own head.
