Jersh doesn't really do anime recommendations and lots of people recommended Kaiji after squid games.

Anime really isn't an issue, it's no different to movies or other shit people watch/read where most characters don't really feel like people. Obviously I have some interests in anime and even I think most of it is trash, even things I do enjoy I never think the character acts like an actual person with their mannerisms they just come off as fake, not even childish just inhuman. But all media is like that where there always needs to be some snarky quip that just comes off as unnatural.

Just enjoy it for what it is. That said I think Jersh would enjoy Perfect Blue and if we include manga Franken Fran.
And on the topic of Jersh and weebs I wonder how the Usada Pekora donor felt hearing your version of her laugh.
Personally I liked the deadpan delivery.

On the accepting donations to watch anime idea I say go for it. $500 minimum to watch an episode or two and do a short review sounds reasonable to my dumb ass. Could turn it into a bidding war too. Minimum 100$ donations to enter their title into the raffle (and you can veto it if they say suggest something retarded like boko no piku) and every $500 (or every month or something) you draw a title from the hat. Could brand the review segment as Mad at the Anime.
