This is probably my favorite example, but over the years he realized that the hands and brown couch format was the way to go.

There is a scene in Mad Men where a young copywriter tells Don Draper "I feel bad for you."

This exchange aptly sums up the largely one-sided dialogue between Sterling and the audience who are abandoning him in droves. He spells out in rigid terms the genuflections that are required for him to regard you as an ally. The people he is addressing either aren't needy enough to require his approval and are ignoring him, or they have already are gone and have moved on with their lives. As incredible as it might seem to a narcissist like Sterling, there exists a rich and vibrant landscape beyond his dying YouTube channel - an incredible world of wizards, and talking hats, and digital cats that you can pet, and a Scottish school where pupils die horrifically every year and no-one is ever tried for corporate manslaughter.

Sterling is deeply insecure. In the early days of his channel, he was able to alchemise that insecurity into a kinetic personality who made interesting content. As his milk-less moobs have grown, his insecurity has soured into desperation. In a weird backward way he seems to require the acknowledgement of the people who have turned away from him. When your response to former supporters who have unsubscribed from your channel (or who may be considering unsubscribing) is to berate them and broadly slander them with pejoratives such as terf, transphobe, and fascist, then I would venture that you are neither a happy person or a decent human being.

He did a stream with TurkeyTom right after the Null/desTiny stream, he spoke pretty highly of Josh and Kiwifarms from what I remember. I think the whiteknighting for Keffals was more about him attempting to get dunks on Flamenco than actually defending Lucas. Still gay behavior either way though and he come across as a fence-sitting faggot who doesn't have any real convictions when he does shit like this.
