I think a few people actually did get an effective expungment because they had uncomplicated weed convictions from the 70's and 80's, but it's been about that long since the feds will fuck with you for an uncomplicated weed offense. And, like you said the roster of people who got pinched on that and don't have any state felonies is gonna be pretty small and probably is mostly just a list of people who pissed the feds off somehow and got got on the only thing they could pin on them.

Yeah I work for lawyers so I also know exactly how overrated your intellects are. Though I would be interested in knowing some of those civil war cases as some of my initial research seemed to turn up a lot like Biden's pardon - effectively 0. Same with the draft dodger one. (though I've never heard of any prosecutor who had much of a desire to bother with any of those)

If nobody was affected then nobody was pardoned because those people don't exist. It would be the equivalent of issuing a pardon for hunting unicorns. The blanket pardon may "exist" but it's effectively worthless if it doesn't apply to anyone.

The pardon still has to be specific. You can say one person is cleared of all crimes, or a group of people are cleared of a specific crime, but Trump can't just sit there and declare that anybody in Washington DC is cleared of all crimes on Jan 6th. That would be letting off murders, robbers, etc.

Trump probably does have to at least specify something like "all crimes arising out of or in relation to the demonstration and entry of the Capitol building on 1/6" or something similar, traditionally the sovereign had to know what conduct he was pardoning. That was a big portion of the Nixon controversy.

As far as the rest of it goes, just because nobody got out of jail doesn't meant that a pardon didn't do anything, collateral consequences are a thing. Lots of confederates got the ability to hold office and similar, it seems like a couple people are no longer weed felons, and all the nam era guys can return without fear of federal prison.

-edit- The general amnesty went to the supreme court several times and was honored to return property and such. The easiest search terms to find relevant cases seem to be "proclamation of amnesty" or "'December 25' pardon"

My problem with the argument.
1: The relation with intelligence and fertility.
2: The relation between education level ( you need some level of conscientious and time preference to acquire a degree) are well know, especially with women, to correlate negatively with fertility.
3: People with poor stimulus control are to not some dead end. Some are even well above-average in reproduction. For example: anti-social behavior is correlate with sexual Partners.
4: The level of dopamine manipulation is unprecedented in human history. In the past you have you in-group, living close to to you and not some stupid abstract concept like ideology, where you can get rewarded or punished for your behavior. Now you have people who could be normal, and not necessary a retard or someone with weak will, getting in the mass communication hell. The technique of marketing will only get more advanced and with the unpopularity of traditional identity more people will get into retarded and unfulfilled in-groups with only the possibility of punishment.
5: Quantity has a quality in its own. With the welfare state you have less reason to put resources.

TL;DR: The future belongs to those who show up and it will mostly retard who show up. Also I can't breed.

It is unfortunately true that the lower a person's IQ group, the higher the average number of children per person there is in said group. The higher a person's IQ, the more pause they take in regards to if kids are worth it, if kids are a good fit for them, if they can afford kids, if they want to subject more kids to the world's problems, etc. Retards just fuck and pump out goblins that they probably won't/can't properly care for, and that's likely the biggest contributing factor as to why most of the children in America today are some various shade of brown.

Snipping your wider statements to say that these are not absolute truths. But don't mistake my disagreement with absolute disagreement either. There is a lot we don't know.

Sexual Partners no longer correlate with kids necessarily for example. And unstable families are seeing their fertility drop faster than stable families. And from looking at men like Andrew Tate and the Manosphere. They are positively barren. Something that will probably dawn on even their dumbest fans in time. But going into everything the manosphere gets wrong about human behavior will be too autistic even for me. Though I will give some implied reasons for why they're greatly mistaken.

Instead I'll get to the point: Charles Murray, yes that one, wrote a book about what Null was alluding to called Coming Apart.

Basically White American IQs and the lifestyles associated with those IQs are becoming bifurcated due to assortive mating. IE retards who can't get it together get with retards who can't get it together while people who can at least go to college stay together and have kids under more ideal circumstances.
For all the talk of college being mad for finding marriage material, something we've all heard and likely just assumed to be true from selective looks at campus life, the opposite is empirically the case.

I bring this up to showcase why why it's important not to take axioms at face value and for all time. It is true that lower IQ racial groups generally outbreed higher IQ racial groups (because the high IQ groups subsidize and save their offspring I have to add) but within groups that doesn't necessarily hold.

Murray says that, for whites, the trend is actually slightly eugenic. At least this is inferred from the positive correlation between marriage stability and fertility. Now, he could be wrong, but I'm not entirely sure I doubt him just from my collisions with low iq white people.
