"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

The people he mentioned (not as a joke), that I remember, were Mental Outlaw, Louis Rossmann, and Caroline Farrow. Destiny too but I'm not sure how serious he was about him.
Louis Rossmann's boss, Eron Wolf, might be a more suitable option. He keeps a low profile, he has fuck you money and he's all in on the freedom thing (he's the one bankrolling FUTO).

FUTO endeavors to invest in social media systems with no political censorship. To the extent that content moderation is necessary, consumers and parents should be in control of whatever moderation system is employed.
Looks like FUTO is developing stuff to make this happen:

Null might want to keep an eye on this, as it may be relevant to his (and the Farms') interests.

It just came to me that Count Dankula might be a viable signatory for the charity project. He lives far away from most deranged trannies, the last thing his government wants is more involment with him (after the pug fiasco) and he LOVES pissing the right people off.
He loves trannies tho. That’s thicker than blood, water, and common sense.

Inb4 just minimize the video or do some gay nerd shit. No, I'd rather not listen at all in that case. Gibs muh MP3s back
Youtube-DL can download just the audio of videos. I use Youtube-DLG because I'm a Windows chad and it has a GUI and I don't want to use a command line like a fucking nerd. It's just in a dropdown. You just have to wait for the video to be actually finished and published as a video (like with every other download option), but it works on many other sites as well as youtube.

With regard to Musk suing Threads on non-compete contracts, Jersh is wrong. Musk has a valid claim. I knew an exterminator who wanted to set up his own exterminating business and was sued by his former employer because he signed a non-compete. He signed an employment agreement where he agreed to not set up a competing business for 3 years after leaving the company. The law was not on his side and he had to bide his time.

Should he have signed that shitty contract? Maybe not, but it was a good paying job and he wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. Is it fair? I don't know, but it's the law.

In California, where most of the employees of these shitty companies are based. non-competes are generally not enforceable by state law. For executives you might be able to do it but not for the rank and file. This is why a few(several? many?) years back there was a big story about how most of the big tech companies agreed not to poach each other's employees since they couldn't enforce non-competes.

Musk might have a shot if he could really prove they used Twitter proprietary data but as Josh pointed out it's a fucking microblogging website so it's very unlikely he could prove they stole anything.

Non-competes have to be worded a particular way in order to have any standing. If there is no time limit or an arbitrary time limit, no judge in California will entertain it.

can you call employees that were part of the big Twitter purge poached.

Unless Twitter has proprietary code that is solely unique to them, maybe there's a case.

So what's up with that reddit cat marcy?
https://rdrama.net/emojis (download them all here)
There used to be a separate marsey page, but IDK what happened to that. It got mixed in with the other emojis.
Rdrama now has more than 2500 unique marseys to terrorize reddit staff with. It's totally not just a fun cat that people edit to make topical jokes or stuff like that, it's blatant hate directed at some reddit mods (don't ask how) whose site /r/drama got effectively kicked off of over 2 years ago.
It's literally a fun emoji, there are even multiple AI models to generate your own marseys if you want to!
There was a joke that we could probably make a comprehensible Marsey hieroglyphic script eventually

Back in the early 90s, the band Mule unwittingly wrote the soundtrack to the life of Ethan Ralph - a flailing, redneck, junkyard stomp.

I mention it here because their song 'Lucky' incorporates the "wish in one hand and shit in the other..." idiom. The lyrics also disparagingly mention someone "chasing tadpoles... little girls", which is something else Ethan Ralph is guilty of.

Mule - Lucky
