Public transport is just nigger transport. They wanna build a train here from downtown to the airport but all the people in the suburbs won't have it because the metro bus already brings in enough crime from the city.

I thought about this before and forgot to mention it in stream, but yeah I think the reason public transit isn't popular in the US is blacks.

That’s an issue if it’s actually worth building those everywhere. It’s basically trying to de-centralize the Chinese population into planned cities out in the Boonies and also encourage people to have kids by ensuring they have space.

The absolute best way to enjoy coffee and open up VS Code.

But is it really better than the best Animal Crossing tunes? It doesn't get much comfier than 7pm, 11pm and 1am from New Leaf, especially with how they loop and how easy it is to find that shit looped for hours on Youtube. The nighttime collections with ambient sounds are up there too.

Then again, those may be best for getting to sleep rather than getting work done. Some kind of remix or other track like 5pm might be more your speed.

I don't find those animal crossing soundtracks particularly good. I think it's the limitations in the instruments. The remix is an improvement but not very compelling.

I cannot describe what makes a song good for me.

I hate grumbly voice metal, for instance, but when I heard Kali Yuga for the first time I went apeshit trying to find it. It was RAC and very hard to find in HQ and it took me hours to find pure rips of the song online, which involved literally guessing URLs on random german review blogs to find them. When I did I archived it with lyrics I forced some random kraut from the forum to translate for me because I wanted to share it. I listen to it a lot still, because I know what the lyrics mean now, and I like the song even more as a result.

Sometimes a song just sticks. It's almost never a genre/artist thing.

The Leafy segment was hilarious. I was just listening passively so I didn't know that Null wasn't even commentating. I thought Null was just repeating what he said last week (the "fuckin fuckin uhm" thing) and pausing to play random, non-sequitur clips of Leafy talking to prove his point.

I think I might possibly get what you mean. The background music is definitely composed with simplicity in mind (to be less stimulating and to set it deeper into the background? That would certainly add to the relaxation factor for a lot of people). It's also what makes AC music so widely covered and so mixable. A popular thing to do is to add a personal touch in the form of more layers and more notes overall.

Or did you mean the entire New Leaf album as a whole rather than within individual tracks? But if you have New Horizons in mind, that OST is just as trash as that mobafied zoomer game it was made for.
