"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

The whole Scott Cawthon situation is pretty funny when you realize that Scott's voice is still in the new game and he still the owner of the franchise.

Also say what you want about Scott's Fnaf games but at least he tried to make them look like cartoon mascots. (Debatably actually creepy)
at least he tried.png

to be fair, it's what the fandom wants.png

Josh I want you to know that you made me a huge fan of Hard Men Working Hard ever since you played the Loli Con some time ago and it makes me happy every time you find a way to fit another one of their songs into your stream.

@Null , you consistently confuse the word "allegory" for "analogy". An allegory is a symbolic narrative, i.e. a literary technique. An analogy is a comparison between two different things which are the same or similar along one or more dimensions. Hanukkah is not an allegory for Christmas; it is analogous to Christmas.

I literally registered to inform you of this.

So null’s insistence on making fun of Ralph for the steak (which, I’ll admit, was a retarded picture) prompted me to show a friend of mine, who is a chef, said picture. With zero context, my friend priced the plate as was depicted in the picture at around $80, and I’m inclined to believe him. He did concede that the steak wasn’t necessarily prepare the best, but that cut of meat at a restaurant could easily run you $80.
I’m to conclude that Josh “I flipped burgers once” Moon is frankly ignorant of steak and what you need to make a good steak (literally just a bunch of salt), or at least comes across as such while leaning into making fun of Ralph.

Weird cause I got steak and turf from a restaurant for about $40 this year. Similar size steak and lobster of all things next to it. So either your buddy is an idiot, or you are gunt guarding

I'm wholly willing to believe this, but where I am the $30 steak joints offer seasoning and chips, and the $40 place serves with sauce and a salad. The only place that serves steak alone on a plate for $80 is a Japanese place, and it's Wagyu cooked by an authentic (i.e. not Chinese) Japanese person.

There should definitely be a leaf on top of it, or under it, or a random dash of sauce next to it, all I'm saying.

How do you know what cut of meat Ralph had? That looks just like the meat you get in a supermarket
I mean, yes, all meat that you get will look like what you can get in a supermarket. Restaurants rarely have items that you can’t acquire yourself.
By nature of how anatomy works and how standardized butchery is, different cuts of meat will have unique shape and muscle/fat distribution, and are readily identified visually. Looking back in it, it’s a plate-sized tomahawk (I think) steak, which is absolutely going to run you $80 at restaurant. Looking at it, it looks like it may be cooked medium-well (though it’s difficult to tell without it being cut open), but that’s an issue with Ralph rather than the steak itself.
The entire picture is retarded women’s fare that Ralph participated in, and should definitely be mocked; but null’s focus on the steak itself comes across as uninformed.

Hey don't fuck up the Kiwi Farms echo chamber!

You are spot on, and for future reference, Null doesn't know what he's talking about (when it comes to food) frequently. He thought sloppy joes and pulled pork sandwiches were the same thing. With Ethan's steak he kept referring to it as "plain beef" which is what a steak is. Generally speaking you don't want it covered in sauce. And the price seems high, but not unbelievable. I an 99% sure that Null was thinking about
prime-rib.jpg
and not what an American would call a "steak". Hasn't Null even said he doesn't eat beef?
