As someone who also grew up in the Springer era i thought your Final Thought/Eulogy was good. If you wanted to do more "Final Thoughts" of you reflecting on the week/month of retard wrangling/what's currently on ya mind i for one would welcome the addition to mati.

Also glad you mentioned making sure to stay till the end usually i start to tune out when superchats start but jesus tapdancing christ that ending had me laughing harder than i have in ages.

Edit: Yeah, looks like desktop site is bugged for now, same on the app. Used to happen a lot on streams longer than 4 hours or so where it would only have the final two hours until it reprocessed the video. Guess I just got lucky at work, it was probably an hour or two after the stream ended when it worked for me

I've noticed a couple of episodes are cut off at the end. Don't know if that's intentional or something went wrong, but it's only at the very end.

I may be insanely late, but it's because the alerts website is based in Russia. My bank was screaming at me every week because of it. I have to manually accept the charges just so I can send hymns.

Josh mentioned last week that there was a fan made theme tune for the stream, and a fan made version of the "now to beat a dead horse" jingle that was too professional. I can't find any links to them in the thread.
 
On the topic of sneedchat being a bootleg for fishtank because you don't have to pay $40 to access it: I would like to remind Josh of his plans to make a browser extension that has a bunch of archival tools like archive.md and yt-dlp built into it, along with a chat feature that could plugin to livestreams. It's a great idea and I hope it gets explored when the hardware, networking, and rust forum rewrite are taken care of. It's a lot of work but I know you're up to it, Josh. Godspeed.

Jersh, please turn off the compressor and any audio mixer effects you have on when you play music or videos.
The intro song in the last stream was distorted to shit and it was too loud.
The frequency spectrum of the human voice and music is vastly different and you will never get both music and speech right with a single compressor preset (it's different from person to person and song to song as well).
Most songs will have a compressor in the mix anyways and adding another one on top is overkill.

Sincerely, anyone using a pair of headphones that cost more than $50.

Edit: or just simply put the compressor only on the channel that's playing your microphone audio instead of on the master channel
