Not that I want to start an anime discussion and get deleted again but you're right, Death Note is just about the most based anime I can think of with no weird japanese sex perversion. The girl wants to have sex with Light of course but they are both over 18 and actually look it. Not that I'm suggesting Josh should watch it because I respect his decision to drop anime since he has good reason, but Light did nothing wrong and I think Josh would agree with him. I think a lot of people would, especially these days.

The problem is that...Death Note sucks after the first half and L dies.
 
The I,Hypocrite stream with Rekieta and Null was fun, they watched some topical videos Hypocrite showed them, but you could cut the tension between the two with a knife since the beginning of the show, even if some of the videos made both of them laugh and got them to have a discussion afterwards. I think Null acted great in that stream, called Rekieta out at just the right time but didn't go too far, I can see that they both want to stay on friendly terms, even if Rekieta is acting like a Karen. IMO Null is doing everything in his power to moderate this site and punish people who partake in cow-tipping or "touching the cow". Null confronted Nick about the business ruination and abuse and he basically gave a very, very vague answer on who had been harassing him, so Null just dropped it. Truth is, Nick just doesn't want negative stuff said about him on his thread. That's not how this site works, the Internet remembers and the individual suffers the consequences of their own actions. The Internet is Kiwi Farms.

Just admit you went to Hedonism 2 and that you have made mistakes due to your degeneracy Nick, we will take you back in with open arms you fucking faggot.

I wanted to comment on the discussion of women's rape fantasies in the I,Hypocrite stream. Feel free to rate me autistic, but I felt the need to chime in because it always makes me cringe slightly when I see men discussing how they think women think.

While there's obviously an amount of woman who fetishize rape because they were molested, it's very common in women who weren't molested but were raised in more conservative/traditional-leaning households. Being told in your formative years (i.e. during puberty when your hormones are going nuts) that your sexual desire is shameful and wrong and will make you lose your worth as a woman leads to trying to rationalize your natural desire for sex in a way that doesn't conflict with what you're being taught. For a lot of women in these situations, that manifests as rape fantasies: having sex (what they want) without the desire for sex (which they were told is bad). Of course there's also the elements of submission and power dynamics being taken to an extreme degree which isn't surprising given what women are prone to be attracted to.


On a completely unrelated note, does anyone have the clip they played at around 1:18:28 of the female comedian?

I think this is true, not just for women who were raised in conservative homes, but women in general are socialized to be passive and not openly voice their desires. Men are socialized to say whatever they want, do whatever they want while women are made to think about "what this looks like to other people" and to be considerate of others feelings and desires at all times Also women were supposed to be demure and hold on to their virtue, act like sex wasn't something they desired to have, but something they gave to a man as a gift for successfully wooing her. I think this is partially also why the whole new liberal feminist movement took off to begin with, because women wanted to feel more free to explore their sexuality without all the shame attatched to it. Of course now it's a total clown-show where we went way too hard in the opposite direction, as things tend to go.

Also the study that they did about this that people cite when they say oh sooooo many women have rape fantasies included all kinds of fantasies about men being dominant and sexually aggressive while the woman is passive as "rape". I think it's very normal for women to want to be dominated by a strong man they are attracted to. It has absolutely nothing to do with the reality of rape.

I have a vague memory of him talking about Death Note on the fediverse and him saying that after every thing that happens they spend as much time explaining it. I watched an episode myself after and now I can't stop noticing it in other things too. Vidya, books, TV, it's desire to appeal to the lowest common denominator for maximum moneys. (:_(

It’s amazing how you displayed far more common sense and intelligence than the entire manosphere ever has when discussing this subject. Ironically they endorse the feminist view of rape by doing this, that any instance of a man flexing his superior strength and power is “rape”.

It’s common for men discussing women, and women discussing men as well, to grossly distort the true nature and meaning of things. Usually to make it sound more extreme and sinister (so to justify a previously assumed, emotionally-held belief).

IE when men spend time with a man of lower social or sexual status they’re “building him up” but if women do it they’re “making themselves looking better by comparison.”

It’s the result of telling autistic men that they’re more objective than they really are. So they don’t check their own assumptions.

They're all gone there is one egg left that never hatched I got a picture of the fledgling the last day it was in the nest the next morning he flew off
I'm thinking about taking the leftover egg and preserving it in a jar of alcohol or something I'd like to keep it im going to check it with a flashlight and see if anything ever developed or if it was just an unfertilized egg
After the momma bird got used to me she was very pleasant to see in the morning and after work

My knowledge of Lain is limited to being able to recognize it visually, and really liking one song from it, but trannies are constantly claiming things for themselves through no fault of the thing itself, like Fallout New Vegas, Samus Aran, Women's Bathrooms, etc.

So we shouldn't blame the anime for the Tranny crimes committed in its name.
