The Mines can be a terribly boring place so I often find myself thinking about random things, and one of the things I have been thinking about might be something Josh might want to consider. Josh has expressed concern about being light on content and time streaming twice a week. At the same time, people have been repeatedly asking him to do game streams again. Here is my pitch:
One game stream a month. If Null finds himself light on content he can save it for the next stream and do a game stream instead. I imagine it like this: like an hour or so of game streaming, he can take superchats, and he can play something he is interested in or might be fun to comment over. Have a hard cut-off for superchats when the gaming segment is over. For the superchat segment, he could read the normal superchats and start saving the video and music recommendations from his normal streams and pick some that he likes, are funny, or he has something to say about and read them all at once. Then bam, stream over.
I think this might solve several problems at once. It would give Josh some flexibility in his stream schedule, a stream like this could be done with very little preparation and he could do it on a week light on content, during a week where he is otherwise very busy, or on a week he would like to devote more time to something else. It would give people the game streams they want so much. It would also save time on his other streams by cutting down on the number of superchats he has to read and react to on his normal streams and help keep those streams more focused and on on topic. He could also weed out some of the superchat hyper-cancer like the anime music recommendations or literally anything from the "Nintendo Guy."
