I'd laugh if there were eventually dozens of MATI archive channels across YT, as well as other platforms.

It's tempting to set up a bunch of channels and uploading MATI to them as private videos, and then setting all the videos on one channel to public as soon as another MATI archive channel is taken down. Yeah that person is doing great work too, spoke to them back when I was on Twitter. They let me know about an issue and I gave them my notes. Don't think they were on KF and they didn't want to be credited at the time.

A band called The 1975 performed this month in Malaysia, and as part of some LBGTIAPQ+ protest, the singer throat kissed the bassist mid concert, which resulted in the whole thing being shut down. I think the studio stepped in and held him to a dead line for Lord of the Rings and so animation got rushed. They were trying animation techniques that hadn't been tried before. In addition to that Bakshi went in with the plan that there would be a sequel and it was about 10 years before the idea of a sequel was popular and so the studio said "no you're not getting a sequel no one would ever pay for 2 movies." That's why the last like 3 minutes or whatever is just the narrator time skipping. It was supposed to be a half way point.

Hell, even when Peter Jackson tried pitching the movie series to various studios, (((Harvey Weinstein))) tried to force the trilogy to be a single two and a half hour long film and threatened to replace Jackson with Quentin Tarantino when he refused. Thank god for New Line Cinema, since they basically told Harvey to jump into an oven and forced him out of the project.
