"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
For Null and anyone curious:

Bro Team Pill did a playthrough of Revolution 60. It's excellent because he plays it in the background while getting increasingly drunk and talks about whitetrash Canadians stabbing each other at bars. Highly recommend.

OneyPlays did one too but I didn't watch much of it. They play it safe but it's probably worth a watch.

BroTeamPill is pretty based, though if you watch the full stream of him playing Revolution 60 he gets into some pretty (literally) gay stories

Todays average viewer amount was 3246
Down 200 from last Friday.

Extra for today 1779 people were waiting on Rumble for late and gay Josh to start stream.
No other site had waiting numbers.

That outro song hit hard damn.

Since this has come up a couple times in Shill Mode℠, here's a good introduction to the "how to use JavaScript without becoming a soydev" question: The Website Obesity Crisis (archive). It is an older talk, but still rings true today. It talks about not using JavaScript as the fundamental building block, and other techniques for making websites that people don't hate.

Here's the thrust of it:

javascript_is_a_shit_language_for_retards.png

Achieving this means learning how HTTP and forms work, leaning on the server instead of the browser, building a page without JS first, then sprinking a tiny amount of JavaScript on top only if it enhances the page. If your site doesn't work with JavaScript off - I don't care how iNteRAcTIve it is - you are a soydev.

Null, I would like to put my fluency in dialect of colour to good use for the sake of total MATI accuracy

While Eric July’s “PULLUP” discount code may be a subtle reference to you and your terrain meme, in my opinion it is more likely that it is simply nigspeak. From the Bixford Nigtionary of Ebonics and Sheeeeeit, “pull up” is nigger slang most often used to provoke an opposing party into coming over (whether to the user’s Section 8 neighborhood or just to their current location) and engaging in altercations. For example, “dat nigga Josh finna tell Liz-Fong Jones to pull up to court n sheeeit mang deadass”

It’s possible that, given the nature of Riley’s interference with Eric’s business and the aftermath, discount code “PULLUP” is a cheeky way of telling that cracka-ass honky Riley to come back to his office and try that shit again so my nigga July can pop a cap in his ass fr fr

Both archives on YouTube (JCM Archives and MATI Archival Services) have been hit with strikes so no uploads on those for a few weeks. If I make another channel I'll post it here but it is getting to the point where nearly every episode is an auto-strike, a new strategy might be needed.

Kino Klips say they will be back in October, MATI Archiver 3000 has recent streams, Dr Tanuki Robert House has clips as do Elissa Clips (more focused on Rekieta), CJ Clips and Slobbermutt - MATI Clips

EDIT: Granthh uploaded a clip an hour ago so giving them a shout out too.

I used to show up late on Rumble and roll the stream back to the start as it was still live. For the last two streams, I haven't been able to do this on any of the available platforms. It will let me go back about an hour but no further. Is this a problem on my end?
I've been having this problem with Rumble as well. Only, it won't even let me go back an hour, or at all. I have to wait until the stream is completely over. Very annoying.
