Not to make excuses. but she sounded so out of it that you can’t even say she was being truthful or not, the answers were just meaningless.
Even the answer to “what did you binge on an hour before the call” might not have been a lie, she could have thought she had a shot of Bailey’s to calm the nerves and her friend had dumped a load of Ketamine in it for a laugh.
Or, Occam’s Razor, she’s a junkie flake and did it to herself. Either way it’s a bit of a shame.

The comments in the archive are good for this one. I'll be honest, I know very little about Sam Hyde or the whole situation - I don't even know what the accusations are (other than what Josh said). I think she's just an attention whore and a drug addict, which the other guy who left Sam Hyde and leveled accusations also seemed to be. Sam could be a horrible person I guess but we'd never know, everyone around him is too much of a fuck-up to get their shit out there.

The people thinking this was a setup are retarded. Channing has been on /pol/ for 5 years spamming pictures of Sam with a 16-year-old girl non-stop. Non-stop. She posts everywhere. She posts on obscure imageboards about him, she posts on forums, she goes everywhere his audience does and she inundates him with accusations of being a serial abuser and pedophile.
There were 3 different ex-MDE contributors who vouched for her. I have copies of their IDs and I have proof they worked with MDE. They either show up in video credits or on book credits or there's fucking pictures of them together on the set of MDE's Adult Swim show World Peace. The other people immediately got in touch post-interview to apologize for the trashfire and distance themselves from her. That does not happen in a setup.
And the number of people saying "it's a setup lmao!" are really tempting me to see if there's someone else who wants to go over this. Like what the fuck are they thinking? That Sam took 2 weeks out of his schedule in the middle of setting up Fishtank 2 to waste 25 minutes of my time?

Yeah if it was a troll I would expect a better pay off especially if the "real" story is that it was someone associated with Sam Hyde, or actually him, who told her to say OKCupid. I don't see him taking time out of his schedule to do this but if people want to say this was his personal troll, it's not a very impressive trophy to add to his shelf - a lot of work, very little payoff. Overall, very strange.
It would be interesting to know if she has contacted other people with these accusations and why they didn't take on the story - I assumed it was because a lot of Hyde's enemies try to avoid talking about him directly and she frankly doesn't seem smart enough to look into a neutral third-party who might entertain her, but maybe the reason was because similar shit happened with them, it just didn't happen live or she proved herself to be a junky attention-whore before they got to any sort of interview or investigative stage.
It sucks it wasn't a better interview but that definitely wasn't your fault. We still kind of got everything we needed to know about her from it. I'm glad you immediately called her out and ended it when it was clear it wasn't worthwhile. I'd be shocked if anything she ever said had any validity but if it did she has completely ruined her chance to get it out there. The lesson here is never work with children, animals, or women.
EDIT: Also late happy birthday! I don't know why I am so retarded when it comes to dates (among other things).

Have you ever tried to control the words coming out of someone’s mouth who was on something? It doesn’t even need to be something hard (for her it clearly was something she mixed) but just try to get someone really drunk to tell a story. They’re not gonna get every detail correct.
The only thing this reeks of was her being some sort of addict and blowing the opportunity other people apparently wanted her to have. Those other people now distancing themselves have given Null documentation proving its them and they believe her. If he was feeling amoral he could just post all their information uncensored for wasting his time and let the internet rip them apart.
