Attempt #2 at uploading some of the old MATI podcasts. Per GenociderSyo's suggestion, I have re-rendered the MP3s as MP4s.. Some of them, despite making them 100x100 at 1 FPS, are still too big to upload as attachments.

PS: As a drug enjoyer that had more trouble with stopping caffeine than I did any illegal drug, I understand that it might not be a right time to stop caffeine, but you could easily choose to stop the cans and switch to a simple cup of homemade Joe instead. Or even better, switch to caffeine pills, not only do they last longer, but they help you lose the habit of having a drink at all time, which is half of the addiction.

This is neither here nor there, but the wife and I have decided to give up all drinks that aren't water for our church's nod to Lent. Alcohol, tea, and of course coffee. I've been slowly scaling back my coffee intake in preparation (I frequently had 4-5 cups a day if not more). Last week I went to two cups a day, this week I've scaled back to 1 cup a day, and next week I'll do one Tuesday and Thursday before cutting it off March 1st.

Is this a wise way to go about this or am I due for horrible caffeine headaches come March?

I've never successfully given up the caffinated jew, but I've heard using excedrine for the headaches only after it starts to get bad is a way to go, it has caffeine in it, so you know it will give relief, but using it afterwards will help make the process bearable, and you need to not use it in advance.

Caffeine headaches go away completely after the 2nd week cold turkey, so as long as you can hold on that long you're good regardless of the method.

Tapering is good, but you're still probably gonna get headaches. For me (dropping soda), they lasted about 2 weeks, getting less and less as time went on. You can do it, but it might be a bit rough. Stick with it if it's important to you!

I'm a tea drinker (black, no milk), and I picked it back up after my last caffeine binge. The caffeine is definitely a plus, but I do enjoy the taste.

Soda, yeah it's tough one. I still have the occasional drink if I'm out, but I just cannot have the stuff in the house.

I hope Josh gives up Europe for Lent. (And forevermore.)
