The tranny voice actor retracted his statement because it's career suicide for a voice actor and not because of marketing deliverables. VAs usually promote shit they've worked in for free to build their brands. Voice acting is a notoriously oversaturated field where it's extremely easily to be replaced if they step over the line, and all they know it.

In 2022, Bayonetta's original VA Hellena Taylor alleged she was fired for wanting fair pay and many VAs came out of the woodwork to take her side only to absolutely shit their pants, delete and retract all of their posts within hours of it emerging that Taylor was a liar who pressured the developer for an insane amount of money, failed and then went public out of spite. This ended her voice acting career completely. Every dev is going to think twice about hiring a troon time bomb that will accuse them of masterminding a transphobic conspiracy no matter how pozzed they are.

And yet they still hire them all over the place. Honestly anyone who hires a troon deserves to have their company be blown up by said troons temper tantrum.

buy it forever input:

red wing boots are really great. ive worn iron rangers everyday for 5+ years and all they need is a resole. in general cobbled shoes are fantastic because you can actually repair them unlike shitty injection molded tennis shoes that you have to repurchase every year or two. they also form to your foot so the fit is second to none.

a ruger AR isnt worth it considering the price for what you get. just buy a cheap PSA rifle (carry handle with sights, m-lok handguard) and spend the savings on training ammo*. if you end up shooting enough to justify a more robust tool you can easily upgrade the barrel and bcg which are essentially consumables anyway.

lastly about 5.7x28mm in general; get it if you enjoy shooting it but theres very little practical reason to use 5.7 considering the CPR (easily double the cost compared to 9mm). unless youre expecting to face soft armor its performance will be worse than 9mm. either less damage to an unarmored target or equally zero penetration to level 4 plates which are vastly more popular than soft armor right now.

Buying recommendations:
The Ruger MPR series of AR-15s are okay. I've owned one and sold it, liked the trigger a lot, but mine didn't like steel cased ammo. Also, didn't like the brake on it, VERY loud. You're already going to get hearing damage if you shoot inside in self defense, but shooting a break inside, now that sounds like hell. They've had some iffy QC resulting in a minor gamble on if you're going to get a solid working gun. Their autoloading handguns, again, are okay. They're good on a budget, I've owned a few, however, on a Buy It For Life basis, just buy a Glock 19 Gen 5. Buy two more OEM 15 round magazines and 5 15 round Magpul magazines. You can throw a Streamlight flashlight on it if you want, and there's tons of great holsters. I like the T-Rex Arms Sidecar, but there's so many holster options, and at the end of the day, they're just kydex. Just don't buy a $20 Amazon special if you want long-term function and comfort. A lot of finding a holster is personal preference and you'll likely end up buying a few before you settle on what you like. AVOID: Sig's modern guns, the pistols randomly blow up, rust, or malfunction.

On a budget for AR15s consider PSA, they also run into bouts of poor QC, but they do have great warranty. You can get a complete rifle for ~450 bucks. I have one as my beater to loan to friends and shit, mine's been fine, but it's still sub 1000 rounds. The Reddit Special: putting a BCM upper on an Aero lower is a great idea, one of the Reddit hivemind's few good ideas. BCM has great QC and makes a solid rifle. Aero's uppers are not great, but their lowers are good. A great match. Others will recommend optics and shit, most are made by yellow people. The budget Sig Romeo 5 works well and is only ~120 dollars. On magazines stick to Magpul until you do your own research. Do not buy ETS, Hexmag, or Promag. AVOID: Bear Creek Arsenal & Radical Firearms. AVOID: Turk built shotguns.
GLHF don't get shot by troons when you move back.
 
If you’re going to conceal carry a handgun prepare to buy a few until you get one that carries and feels right the way you like it. Single stack may be much better than double stack.

It helps to have friends you can borrow from for awhile to get a feel for each type. I can’t stand glocks but 1911 is just fine.
