Non-hybrid Toyotas are solid. When buying used watch for rust. Mine just hit 300k with only an alternator replaced. I would stay away from hybrids due to being more complex and expensive to work/replace parts on.
PSA makes great cheap ARs. If you want to get a fancy one, build your own. Buy a Ruger 10/22 though to learn some shooting skills. They are cheap, ammo is cheap, and just shoot a shit ton of rounds through it. 1000 rounds of ammo always go faster than you would expect. Sig P365 is a good carry gun and haven't seen any issues except a few reliability issues in the first batches that was remedied. Have put a good 1000 through mine with 0 malfunctions.
If you give yourself haircuts used Oster 76/A5 are cheap and you can replace every part and sharpen the blades easily. Old Maytag/Whirlpool appliances are fantastic, used washer/driers can be picked up from Menards for $50, or just go to the hood. There is always a nigger with 100 appliances looking to sell. Speedqueen if your rich and want something new. Front loaders suck ass and should be thrown out of a moving truck on the way home.
For any kitchen appliance or tool. Just go to the restaurant supply store for cheap double ply stainless pans and dishes, allclad 3 or 5 ply is nice and light, but not worth the price imo. Lodge is alright and vintage cast iron is awesome, good luck finding Wagner or Griswold cast iron for a decent price though. Mercer makes good cheap knives that are forged, Victorinox makes good stamped stuff I use their fillet/boning knives.
In general your better off buying stuff made 30 years ago that was high quality at the time. Hoof it around garage sales. Craigslist sucks now for the used market. Unfortunately Facebook marketplace is pretty well necessary if you want to find used things locally.
