@Null While watching older streams of your I can across the fabled "Jannies iffy uh".
I remember semi recently you were looking for the song. I do not think anyone followed up with the request.
Here it is, don't lose it.

Affirm strongly. There's a reason Glock has as wide adoption as it does. From military and police to Tyrone the king niggo of his block, the Glock works. Though Gen 5 > Gen 3 > Gen 4. Gen 4s are still Glocks though. You can find used Gen 3s and 4s petty often in the 350 dollar area and they may even come with better sights.
Adopt a Glock.
The best argument is the aftermarket support and it just works. 15+1 is good for conceal carry and compared to a Glock 17 for a standard user you won’t be missing much with the what? 50-100 fps difference in velocity? The bonus for the Glock 19 is its highly concealable and easy to carry and you can have the 17 round on up for magazines if you want a few rounds more after going dry or just to carry.

Almost all engagements are within 15 yards. At that range 100fps only decides how likely the bullet is to penetrate the target and the backdrop.

About the Black Pain Pill disparity thing.
Doctors are hesitant to give black people pain medication because there’s a higher risk it’s merely an attempt to get drugs. Because obviously you can’t just measure pain, you have to ask the patient and trust they’re being honest. So they prescribe pain medication more readily to whites, ergo the opioid crisis.

Which in turn reminds me of this Dave Chappelle bit. Where he compares the opioid crisis to the crack epidemic. As if anyone was telling black people that crack is medicine.

I guess Dave is too black to grasp the distinction.

All they did is sped it up and pitched it up. The original mix I found and linked previously in this thread. Search box at the top, This thread, By: Slav Power. Or just go back a few pages.
I've had the most luck with the ones that are the most Chinese, Amcrest, Hikvision, Reolink. I put them on their own VLAN, prohibit them from ever touching the Internet and make them record to a NAS with NFS/SMB/FTP when motion is detected. The NAS then does object detection and flags "interesting" events.
There's alternative FOSS firmware for those, something like OpenWRT. You'll probably want to put that on those to cut phoning home at the source.

@Null regarding the guy who keeps writing you about Mormon clergy CSA, I did a deep dive into the phenomenon in the WWASPS thread.
The tl;dr is your kids are about as safe with Mormon clergy as they are in public schools. There are six minimum best practices and neither meets the minimum for different reasons. Mormons beat public schools in some aspects and public schools beat Mormons in other aspects.

As far as I can tell, if you’re white and respectful, you’re at the lowest risk of abuse. Mormon parents have an extremely low tolerance for faggot, furry, druggie, and otherwise degenerate children. So they’ll statically send these kids off to “troubled teen” private schools or simply kick them out of the house (a striking number of young people in our homeless shelters are LGBTQIAP+). These are the hotbeds of abuse in Utah. Some will consider it based. Some will consider it tragic. Bottom line, knowing that you do not consider public schools to meet your standard of safety for your kids, I recommend giving Utah a miss when you move back to the states.

I think the problem is what Mormons do to kids that are not theirs.
You're also looking at punitive abuse, not grooming.

I'm looking for a stream that has a really obnoxious, racist song with gibberish chinese (basically went LING LING LING a lot) as either an opening or closing song.

I've been looking through the archive, and I got to around the end of 2020, but maybe I missed it? I'll keep looking in the meantime, but if someone knows what stream I'm talking about I'd appreciate a link or the date.

@Null first sorry to hear you're sick, feel better soon man.

Everyone else talking about guns and vehicles, but you did say "favorite things" in general so I wanted to recommend this: https://www.titansurvival.com/collections/survivorcord

cord.png

Titan SurvivorCord. Put it in a bag or your truck and forget about it until you need it, really useful when you do need it. Besides just being a sturdy cord, as pictured you can unravel the strands and it contains fishing line, waterproof firestarter, and conductive wire.

In general, even if you don't consider yourself much of a prepper sort of person, it can be instructive to go down a Youtube rabbit hole on prepper types and bug-out bags because a lot of those guys test their gear extensively and have whole communities where they debate the best gear to keep on hand. So many things that take up relatively little space that you might not normally think about keeping around, and a lot of them are buy once and forget about it until needed.

@Null I read briefly about a potential tech-related lawsuit you might enjoy looking into in the future, but it currently doesn't have much info available and thus you should probably take this with a grain of salt until/unless more information comes out. It might make a good "I FUCKING HATE ADVERTISERS" segment a few months from now.

Calm.com and its associated sleep-tracking and meditation app is soon to be the subject of a mass-arbitration lawsuit which alleges that the app secretly transmits details about users and what kinds of meditation videos they've been watching to Facebook using the Meta tracking pixel. This information is supposedly used by Meta to target users for advertising based on the company's newfound knowledge of their poor sleep habits/patterns.

P.S: if you look up "Calm app lawsuit" you will get a lot of results for the same company being involved in a trademark dispute over the name. That is a different case.

That's the old covenant, if you're also looking to cast any woman who had the ill fortune to share a roof with you into the cold whenever she has her flow, delude yourself into thinking your fooling an omniscient God turning on lightswitches, and worshiping the holocaust, go for it.
He does not know the difference between ritual uncleanliness and sin. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

It wasn't Moses coming down Mount Sinai with the Ark of the Covenant containing the 10 commandments, it was John Moses Browning coming down Mount Sinai with the Ark of the Covenant with the m1911 inside.

For guns, I got to try out so many when I moved here due to loved ones owning quite a few, and the tropey Glock 19 gen 5 was absolutely my favorite to handle and comfortably use. It's never needed a repair, it's easy to do the upkeep at home, and there are plenty of accessories that are meant for it as needed- I'd have to look it up, but we have a torch that mounts onto it and blinds what's in front of you without blinding you at all. A lot of handguns were uncomfortable for me to use, but I immediately took to this one. It is great for conceal carry as well.
Dutch oven- I'm really partial to the expensive yet tried and true Le Creuset round dutch oven. Lodge is great for the price and absolutely worth it if you take care of it, but imho it chips and marks too easily. I do believe Le Creuset have a lifetime warranty as long as you use as recommended, I definitely took advantage of it a few years ago anyway. I use it for stews, braised vegetables or meats, crusty bread including no-knead ones, anything.
Chef's knife- Victorinox is great as an all-around solid, resilient, serviceable knife, and if you have an interest in Japanese-style knives, the MAC MTH-80 is a solid workhorse, we've had ours for years but they require more upkeep. If you're willing to learn how to use a whetstone and maybe practice on a shitty knife before you try it out on the MAC, it's pretty great.
Anyway, for things I cannot recommend-
For appliances, my mom groups have dubbed the Samsung brand ''Samsuck'' because they have terrible, premature issues so I would avoid that if possible. I have a GE oven that was wonderful until the front glass panel up and exploded, and they were basically saying ''lol too bad, out of warranty by two months'' until I started talking about implied warranties and their inability to stand behind their product so I wouldn't pick them since they have a hard time standing behind their product.
If you go somewhere with an actual winter, avoid Sorel boots. Growing up, they were the epitome of quality but I got some a few years ago for a vacation and the sole started peeling after maybe 20 uses. For rain boots- Hunters have also gone down in terms of craftsmanship.
Other than that, my only fields of expertise are perfume and ice skates, so I think I've been as useful as I can be.

@Null, I don't know how much of a handyman you consider yourself to be, but if you want a good multitool for just about any occasion, a Leatherman can't be beat. They aren't the cheapest, but they are durable, and American made (in Portland, Oregon I believe). Here's three midrange versions that are worth considering:

If you have one of these, and a can of WD-40 on your person at all times, there is not a single situation imaginable that you will not be completely prepared for.

I know you want to be a homeowner, and if you decide to move out of the cesspit cities and into the good ol' countryside, its nice to have a multitool you can rely on when the things around you decide to give up the ghost.

I went shooting in the middle of nowhere with the buddies when one $250 shotgun jammed and if it wasn't for the Leatherman in my trunk I truly don't know what the fuck we would have done. Just imagine the horrific fear of thinking one bump on the road could cause 00 Buckshot to blast a hole through the car and potentially murdering someone yards away. How would you even explain that to the cops?

A decent Swiss Army Knife (Alox Farmer X seems to be the most useful) and a Leatherman, both can go pretty much anywhere and can be used to address a variety of small issues. Beyond that multitools can be kinda gimmicky and poorly made but those two just keep em in a drawer.
